Pizza was burnt, service was so so, a family walked in after we had ordered our pizza and they received their pizza the same time we received ours. No discount for burnt food, staff asked if everything was ok after we had eaten ¾ of it. I mentioned it was Burnt«sorry» and walked away. No thank you after we had paid. Oh and check out the spider webs!

The thing we enjoy the most about The Depot is the location on the Mississippi and the small town feel of the building/décor. The staff are always friendly and the service is quick. I feel the menu is that of your average bar/restaurant. Nothing too fancy but also a bit of variety to it. We will continue to eat here as long as we live in the area.

Just started coming her often and I’m a big fan. I like the hometown feel a place like sunshine depot has. Owner is always around and working. Staff is friendly. Food is good, pizzas are great! I also really like the burgers. Surly on tap!

New owner, and it has made a huge difference. Pizzas are still the best in town. But I’ve seen improvements on the rest of the menu. Great friendly place.

It is a Dive bar in the best sense of the word. The homemade pizza was great. And the staff was friendly.

Went here for lunch on Sat with my wife and daughters. Thought a greasy burger and onion rings sounded good but i was wrong. Very little meat on the burger and the onion rings were burnt. My wifes burger was like sawdust aqnd had to soak it in ketchup to eat the half she could stomach. My daughters corn dogs were also burnt never have had bar food so bad.

It’s what you would expect for a dive bar that’s been around forever.well.almost. The recession has hit this place hard, and they’ve gone to lot of pre-packaged foods, think a Perkins dive bar. The Mozz sticks are amazing and the Walleye dinner(Not sure if it’s real walleye, but still good), but that’s about it. If you decide to spin the wheel on «Taco Tuesdays» be leary, there is a reason it’s only $ 5 for all you can eat tacos. They«recycle» sour cream, salsa and god only knows what else, but I’m pretty sure the left over toppings as well.(Someone call the health inspector!). There is only one good waitress there, Megan, if you don’t get her… stop and walk right back out the door. The parking sucks to put it nicely and it feels like you are interrupting a filming of «Cheers» with a witch at the pull tab booth.

Went here for lunch on Saturday, hadn’t been here in years so thought it would be fun, plus it was hard to find many places open in the area on the 4th. This place is really a dive with lots of Elk River sports memorabilia on the walls. It’s the kind of place you’d expect to get a great greasy burger but… Wrong! The burger was like a hockey puck, I think Mr. so called«Cook» forgot it on the flat top for about a half hour too long! We ordered an appetizer sampler platter also and that was just OK! not bad, not great, but at $ 13.00 for wings, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks and some onion rings we ate it all. I ordered a Margarita which was weak but drinkable and my son had a Cherry Coke that cost $ 2.50. I’m not coming back until I hear some other more positive opinions about this place! 1 Plus, I’ve had worse service before, I’m just not sure if it counts because it was at Perkins?
