Fun stuff! Located right next to Highway 13, this place is a «must visit» if you are passing through and wanting a burger. Why? Because there are no fast food places in Elkader! I stopped in while zipping from one trout stream to another. The cheeseburger and waffle fries were delicious. The ice cream was to die for. They carry«Chocolate Shoppe» ice cream, a wonderful, award winning line of products made in Madison. The ice cream is the epitome of delightful. The staff at the Burger Barn is friendly and made me feel welcome. I will visit this place from now on while driving through the area. Did I mention I love the ice cream? :)
