Absolutely some of the best from scratch baking. The cinnamon rolls are the best. They are mainly open on the weekend. Call before you go. Definitely drive worthy.

I’m all about a good bakery, so stopped on my drive up Route 66; it was closed. The lady across the street at the antique shop said they are only open weekends now; call ahead before stopping by. It’s reputed to have good stuff, so do a review if you try it out.

When I lived in Springfield we used to ride up here with the bike club, and now if we’re passing through the area we’ll stop in for a bite. The food is great, the coffee is not so great. I think the chai and cappuccino are alright. The service is usually OK, though on our last trip the owner left someone in charge to didn’t seem to know what the heck was going on. Hopefully it was a one time occurrence! All in all a good place to stop in a cute, tiny town if you’re rolling down I-55 or Rte 66.
