2 stars, because the heater in the room has a fan but it cannot be turned on continuosly to drown out noises. They actually put a nature noise machine in the room and it is like nails on a chalkboard. So, at 4am, my next door idiot had his alarm going off. It failed to wake him, but I could hear it plain as day. Every other hotel I stay at has the option of turning just the fan on, this one does not or the button was not working. Room 107. 4 hrs sleep and I have to drive 12hrs, thanks. $ 130 a night I expect a pretty darn good night of sleep

Staff was friendly and fast during check-in. Fairly recent remodel. Heated pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet with belgium waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh cut fruit, yogurt, etc. Easy access from I-80. Clean and comfortable bedding. Bathroom could use an update. Nothing special, but definitely worth a stay for a night while traveling.

Decent location right off the highway with plenty of restaurants nearby, but that’s where the fun ends. This is one of the older Hampton’s you’ll find and my room smelled like a hotel from the sixty’s(think smoke, pets and mildew). The management was flippant toward a request I made, but in defense of them their senses are probably dulled from the odor in this hotel. My advice… spend the few extra bucks and stay at the Hilton Garden around the corner, that’s where I’ll be from now on.

We stayed here 6÷19÷13, on our way to Chicago. It was myself, my husband and my teenage son. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The bedding was superb; the famed«Hampton bedding». There is a heated pool and hot tub on the first floor, and a complimentary hot breakfast. For our stay, the breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, Belgium waffles, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, yogurt, small pastries, bagels, coffee, juice and bottled water.

I am handicapped and have my trusty walker — The staff gave me a walk in shower with a shower seat and I was one happy shower taker! One hour later and much the prunier, i was relaxed, squeaky and very very relaxed. Hopped into bed and realized that this was going to be a wonderful comfortable sleep. While my bff was at some horticultural thing, I wanted a pedicure and the folks at the front desk were able to tell me where to go(as it turned out — for CHEAP)!! The waffles for breakfast were yummy and the person keeping the area clean helped fix my waffle, fetched my syrup and butter while I was enjoying my yogurt. The pool looked inviting — maybe next time? I will return, this was a great place.

Good location with lots of restaurants in the area. Hotel is an older Hampton Inn and needs a little updating. They were lite on staff when we checked in and it was an issue. Facility was clean and good for the budget. This was a sports team travel and they did discount the price for us.
