We have been going here for years, mainly because it’s the only restaurant on the lake. The food has really improved over the years, especially the pizza. I am not a fan of their fish fry. There is much better in the area. The biggest knock is the service. It seems to be hit or miss. One day service is good. The next day our waitress is rude and the food takes over an hour. It’s very frustrating.

This place is a joke if you’re going for food. Prepare to wait hours and potentially forever. No more chances after the last major f*ck up extraordinaire. Ordered tacos prepared to wait and wait as usual… After close to 2 hours asked where my tacos were and was informed the order was cancelled because they had no tortillas. Thanks for letting me know. Too hungry to punch anyone out. Too smart to ever give current ownership another chance. Too bad so sad.

This place was our favorite bar to go to for a fun atmosphere on the lake and GREATFOOD. It’s still both those things but unfortunately something has happened here and the food takes an average of 2 hours to get. They are also out of certain things quite often. Not sure who is running things now, but it seems things have gone downhill. I’m scared it will lose customers and close, and we will lose our fav bar on the lake. Two years ago it would have been a 5 star review. I hope they figure it out soon.

Pretty good place. Simple food, low prices, decent beer selection. You can cruise up in a boat really easily. Appetizers are pretty much all fried but tasty nonetheless.

We stopped in just to be able to have lunch on a deck overlooking a lake. The service from Leanne was great, the food was very good and a great view. There was a party of 13 that dropped in and our food could have taken a long time but Leanne read the situation perfectly and placed our order in front of the large group. We will definately return.

Nice place and all but, food took forever (2 hours) and they messed up my order. My corn dogs were over cooked, but I have faith in this place that it will do better.

At the recommendation of a friend, I stopped here last Friday night. There were less than a handful of other people in the bar but that’s fine by me. I don’t need a huge crowd to enjoy myself. What I do need is a drink. And maybe a smile. Maybe a thank you. The bartender literally acted ANNOYED that I walked into her bar at 10:30pm on a Friday night. She told me it was really hard for her to stay open when she was already closed upstairs(in her head). Just as bartenders don’t want to hear our sob stories, I don’t want to hear yours, but thank you for letting me know you didn’t want customers. Sorry for frequenting your establishment and giving you money. I won’t make that mistake again.

I’ve only had the pizza, but in my opinion, it is the best in Walworth County! The bar is well stocked and the service friendly. That said, I only frequent the bar during the week and in off-season. I’m sure that it is a madhouse during summer weekends, but what can you expect. It is a small place and large crowds will tax the kitchen.

As the only game in town(well, on these lakes, at least), Lauderdale Landing does an A-OK job as both a watering hole and a feed trough. Change a couple of things, and I could see me becoming a fan, given I would be in the area regularly(which I won’t be). The most star reducing point of LL, at least in my book, is the fact that they don’t have fried cheese curds. This is Wisconsin, dammit, in ‘Merica. Why the hell would you not have fried cheese curds, especially given that you obviously have a deep fryer? They have onion rings(great!), fries(also good), Fish Fry Fridays(didn’t make it here for that), wings, poppers, chicken tenders. Shit, the even have fried mozzeralla sticks! Ditch the sticks and get some kick ass curds in there, will ya? Do it now! My friend and I opened the bar on the Saturday after Labor Day. They have some ok beers on tap, and a seemingly good collection of bottled beer. But we were doing shots and drinking cocktails. Some were weak, some were par and maybe 1 was strong. They had their TVs going with College Football, but unfortunately didn’t have Big 10 network. They did have WiFi, however. Food was good. They serve brunch and my friend got French Toast Sticks which were pretty tasty. I had a BLT which had tons of bacon on it and came with tasty fries. I also got a basket of rings and they were hot and crispy. Sysco frozen product rules the roost here. Another customer ordered pizza, and when it came out I had buyers remorse. I wish I had more time, with which I would have come back for their pizza. Finally, the service was friendly and pretty much on par. They even let us have control of one of the TVs so we could choose what game we wanted to watch. LL has plenty of parking so you can drive to it, or you can boat to it and tie up at one of their plentiful docks. If I’m in the area again I would definitely go back.

YOUWILLWAITATLEASTANHOURFORYOURFOODAFTERYOUORDER. ALWAYS. EVENFORSALADS. We’ve been getting carry-out from the Landing for years. They no longer do carry out because their kitchen can’t handle the load. Their words. And boy are they true. They are woefully inept. Last year we went down and had lunch. Look, they’ve got a great location and a great view. Last year the whole meal took about 3 hours, but we had a big party and didn’t really mind sitting on the patio. We went in last Saturday hoping to sit outside and have a nice meal. My sister mentioned that 4square and Unilocal reviews said the waits for food were awful. We chanced it. Unfortunately there were no seats outside. We were stuck inside. Horrid acoustics and the place was fairly busy which meant we were all going hoarse trying to speak. Waitress took forever to take the order(15 minutes) and then we waited. Our appetizer came out at 45 minutes. At an 1 hr 10 minutes we asked how long it would be until dinner. The waitress checked and said 15 minutes. FOR3SALADSAND A BURGER!!! Went home and my uncle laughed and said that that was typical. He said, «just try going in on Friday for the fish fry, it’s even worse.» Now, I’ve had the food. It’s better than Applebees, but it’s not better than, say, Rock Bottom. It’s bar food. No bar food on the planet is worth that wait. MAYBE if you can score one of 4 table outside, but still, what a poorly run restaurant.

expect a long wait for food. if you go in knowing that, then you can enjoy yourself. the pizza rivals the best i’ve had. very high quality cheese, thin crispy crust, meat toppings are fresh(unlike numerous places i’ve been). play cornhole by the lake while you wait or just sit outside and chill. decent beer selection. nicely remodeled. A+ job!

Our family has been coming to the Landing for years, since it’s the only option on our lake. But since it’s changed hands, we’ve seen some major improvements. The service was a little shaky in the beginning, with wait times up to 1 hour or more for food, but the food has always been tasty and it’s only getting better! I recommend the Baja Fish Tacos and the Marinated Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries. I’ve also heard the pizza is very good, too. During the summer, there’s ample outdoor seating and even an outdoor bar. Not to mention you can park your boat out front! Overall, solid choice for the Lauderdale Lakes area.

Came here with some friends who have a house in the area. The inside is kinda like a log cabin. It’s clean. There’s a bar, pool table, a bunch of dinner tables, outdoor seating, and outdoor games. It seemed like a nice family establishment. Six of us came in and asked for a table. Our hostess told us it’d be a short wait. No problem. We were seated in fifteen minutes. It was Friday, so we ordered the Friday special, which was the Fish Fry. Most of us ordered the fried Walleye or Cod. It came with either potatoes or mac’n cheese. It also came with coleslaw, apple fritters, tarter sauce, and cornbread. One person from our party ordered a pizza. We must have waited almost an hour for the food to come out. Our waitress did not seem to care that we were sitting there starving. She made no apologies. I saw her walking by bringing two full shot glasses into the kitchen, then coming back with the empty glasses. I also saw her walking by munching on a handful of fries. Finally, we asked her if our appetizer order of sweet potato fries could be brought out first. Done. The food eventually comes out after we ask another random waitress to check on our order. We noticed other people seated after us received fish fry dinners before us. Our food comes out and our orignal waitress goes, «Isn’t it funny you just have to ask and it comes out.» She should have just said something like«I apologize for the delay.» The whole time we waited she had checked on us one time to see if we needed drinks. The food was blah. My favorite part was the cornbread… which is kinda sad. I can’t fathom why it took so long. I could’ve taken completely frozen fish and served it up faster. I asked our waitress if they had malt vinegar. She told me she can’t even find regular vinegar. When it was all said and done we received the bill. It was around $ 95 for the six of us before tips, which was fine. We give her forty dollars cash, and explain to split the remainder on two credit cards we gave her. She walks away… and comes back with the credit card receipts which she split… and then we notice she pretty much just pocketed our $ 40 and never deducted it from the $ 95 bill. Really? EVEN if we had intended to tip her that much she could have ATLEAST said«thank you.» Nope. Fortunately she fixed her error, but not before telling us we explained it wrong to her. There’s Karaōke on Friday nights. The locals seemed to be having a good time. Our hostess and bartenders were pleasant. Perhaps we were just unlucky with our waitress. According to a flyer they also have a trivia night which is run by our waitress. No Thanks.

It is hard to NOT be a fan of this place, for a couple of reasons. One — it has pretty damn good pizza. Two — it is the only bar/restaurant on the lake(I think). We were up here for a weekend a few weeks ago, and hit this place two nights in a row. Friday night we went because it was recommended to us by people who have a summer home on the lake. We drank and ordered a couple of pizzas. I think it is called the porker pizza, the meat one, boy is that good. I was expecting bar pizza, but we got a nice homemade pizza with a lot of meat on it. Very good and worth the price. Drinks were not expensive either. We also went there the next day while we were on the boat, and stopped by for some more pizza and appetizers. We ordered the hot wings, which were decent but nothing to write home about. Also got the pizza again, which was just as good the second time around. The staff was also very nice and polite to us, even though we might have been a bit rowdy at times. I would definitely comeback here if i am ever up on this lake again.

Lauderdale Landing is a great bar/restaurant that me and my family have been going to for years. It is the only bar on the Lauderdale chain, and has a fantastic view of the lake. In December of 2009, the bar came under new ownership. This is a very good thing, because the establishment was starting to lose a little of its luster, and needed more TLC than it was getting. The new owners are a couple of young guys who have spent summers on the lake, and appreciate what the Landings means to its patrons. These guys(Mike and Marty) have huge plans, including totally gutting both bathrooms, dredging the lake and building new piers, and totally revamping the outside bar & adding a large walkout deck. They have already constructed a second bar in the old dining room, and added a beautiful stone fireplace. I am so psyched for its grand opening party on May 22nd, 2010. This place will be rockin! If you’ve never been, or haven’t been in a while, you have to check out The Landing!
