This is the most hillbilly, backwards a$$ place I have ever been to in my life. Went in on the Friday after Xmas — place probably had 30 people in it. You could tell that every one of them knew each other and probably grew up with each other. This place is proof that inbreeding can happen in a small enough town. In the 15 minutes I was there, I saw 2 dudes fighting with other dudes, and 1 dude physically fighting with a girl. Every single person was yelling and fighting with each other, including the«staff». It’s the kind of mêlée that happens when everybody is totally hammered, have extremely low intelligence, and maybe have a kid with their sister. The thing is I usually love dive bars in small towns, but this place was just totally out of control, and not in a «good» way. In a very depressing domestic violence kinda way. It really appeared that this kinda thing happens every weekend and it’s no big deal. Next thing I know, someone comes out with bat and starts swinging it at everybody, beating it on the bar, and literally going crazy. That was my ticket to get the F out. I was sober and at any given moment I could have been beaten in the head with a bat just for being there. The place needs security, bad, real bad. I get the feeling the local cops just look the other way. That being said, someone needs to be in control when things like this happen. The entire bar was fighting with each other, physically… a woman was getting beat by a man, and nobody seemed to care or was sober enough to care. Don’t go here, it’s a terrible, terrible place.
