Stopped in here again while on a road trip. Thursday night… seated quickly. I had a baked pasta that was delicious. My toddler cobbled up the spaghetti(she can be picky). Our service was great. For an Italian restaurant outside a metro area I wouldn’t expect any better.

Both the food and the service were wonderful! Definitely try the pizzetti shrimp. And as much as you wouldn’t think to order fish in Elko, the ahi tuna piccata was delicious! And then we met a wonderful local/regular couple, Bill and his wonderful wife(I feel bad I didn’t get her name) and they told us about a delicious wine that we tried and love.

Just moved to town and decided to try this place out. Food was great, servers were all upbeat and friendly. But the one thing I was appalled by was the yelling we could hear coming from the kitchen. It was very busy in there but that was so unprofessional to hear the cook or someone yelling at the wait staff while we tried to have our meal. The only reason this got 3 stars was the food and waitresses were excellent. Don’t think I’ll be back if that’s what we will have to listen to.

I have dined at Luciano’s for the past four years attending the Elko MineExpo. One of my biggest attractions was the ambience, but also the unique entrees that were just enough but not overfilling. Each summer I could enjoy a new menu. I ordered the fillet wrapped prosciutto which was good but the vegetables were not grilled. They were a lump of soggy and very tasteless vegetables. Even the red pepper had no taste. The pasta under the beef was a huge amount, way too much to eat. Their wine list was not as good either. I adore the crew, they all work terribly hard and are pleasant. I wish they had the good chef’s they had in the past. I did note the Italian dishes looked very appetizing and maybe that’s where their strength lies.

We found the food quite good. My partner ordered the lamb chop and was treated with a generous portion of what looked like three chops. He cannot eat mashed potatoes so was nicely accommodated with angel hair pasta with extra mushroom sauce. I had the spinach ricotta ravioli with marinara and loved the lightness of it, however the sauce was likely canned tomatoes. The dinner Caesar is also very well done. We were pleased to have chosen Luciano’s for our single night in Elko.

Wasn’t expecting much from an Italian restaurant in Elko but was pleasantly surprised. I had the salmon on a bed of pesto pasta. The salmon was perfectly and lightly cooked as I ordered, although pesto was a little bland but they gladly brought out parmesan cheese. Definitely would come back here.

Emily was our server this evening and we could not have asked for a more exuberant waitress. Luciano is lucky to have someone that loves every dish this restaurant serves & is knowledgable & professional. I ordered the shrimp & chicken in vodka sauce over penne. Outstanding. My hubby ordered the special of barracuda over linguine with lobster sauce. Delish. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Neat place, quiet environment, polite and helpful waitress. A little pricey, but I wasn’t hungry so I just got a pasta with garlic and oil, which was really good and good quantity as well. It was one of the cheapest entries on the menu though, I paid 11 bucks before tax and tip. The only issue I had was with Wi-Fi that no one was able to figure out how to connect, or give me a correct password. But if I hadn’t gone there to work I would have given it a 5.

I’m a big fan of squid and octopus, very difficult to cook properly. I had the daily special and it was delicious. The squid was great and the octopus was in large chunks, most places serve small bits. The staff was great and we really enjoyed it. Very nice place to bring a date

Decided to check this out while I was in Elko on business. I was by myself so I was seated right away. It was a Monday night about 6pm so the place was not overly crowded but had several tables occupied. I ordered the portabella mushroom appetizer, the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and a desert. The bad: I had a difficult time finding the place as the sign has very small lettering. The parking is crowded. The acoustics for fine Italian dinning are not great. For the amount of people in the dining room, it was a bit loud for a quiet dinner. The good: The staff was extremely attentive and courteous, very professional, yet friendly. I asked for suggestions and the waitress gave a few suggestions with detail information. The portabella mushroom looked like a hot mess but was very delicious. The Italian sausage was mildly sweet with a bit of spice, but not too spicy. The marinara had good flavor, but the cheese on top could have been melted better as it appeared to get slightly crispy in the broiler. The fettuccine Alfredo was good, but not great. The pasta was cooked perfectly, there were plenty of chunks of chicken, and the consistency of the Alfredo sauce was creamy and not too thick or too thin. The problem with this dish was lack of additional flavor. There was not much garlic, basil, or any other spices or flavors to taste in this dish so the Alfredo was nothing more than a white sauce. A little more wine, Parmesan, or garlic would have been a very nice addition to the white sauce. It wasn’t bad, however I lost interest due to lack of flavor. After getting bored with the fettuccine I asked the waitress about the desert menu, which she was happy to explain to me. She mentioned a chocolate mousse cake which sounded like a good idea so I ordered it. Many restaurants make a cake with a chocolate mousse filling but this desert was all mousse with a little bit of cake, exactly what I wanted. The desert was divine and I was thankful that I didn’t finish my fettuccine. Would I go back? Yes, the service was excellent but I would probably order something else. All in all I have had much worse experiences in Elko with food and service, so this was not all bad.

Spent a few days out in the wilds of Elko visiting family. I had not been out this way in a really long time and I have to admit, Elko has come a long way since my last visit. We went to Luciano’s for dinner and I was skeptical as we arrived. I was, I have to say, blown away. The prawn and scallop pasta was really, really good. The sauce was great and the pasta not over or under cooked. The prawns were cooked to perfection and delicious. My husband had the Cajun prawn dish and said it ranks up there with the best he’s ever had. The portions could be a tad bigger, but from what we had and saw other people having, that’s kind of nitpicking really. My brother in law had the pesto burger and raved about it. I would normally scoff at a burger in an Italian restaurant but it did look great. The service was good and the staff was very nice and personable. That is probably the most shocking thing about my visit based off my previous experience in Elko was how friendly everyone was and the effort put in to make our visit enjoyable. The bartender and our server were very nice and chatty and seemed to genuinely be enjoying their work even though it was a bit busy. If you’re out in the Eastern part of Nevada and want a nicer dinner, this is the place to go.

«Oh emmm Gee!!! This place was so yummy!!!» Those were the words straight out of my friend Zachs mouth… This place was delish. Zach and I invited our friend Devin tonight to dinner and whoa lemme say this place was top 5 in Elko! I had the Tasmanian salmon dish which was top 5 salmon dishes I’ve had in my life! There was enough risotto on the dish to feed Elko! Devin And Zach shared a cup of Lobster bisque as an appetizer, which Devin said was satisfying and creamy… He’s one for texture if you know what I mean! Anywho… The Caesar salad was different then any other place, but still a great salad. Zach likes a good tossed(ceased) salad from time to time! Since Devin and Zach are meat lovers(no pun intended) they ordered the Grilled Rib Eye steak… I don’t think I saw Devin chew… It was that good! All in all Devin and Zach enjoyed themselves… Even after dinner too… Because we went to Coldstone next door! Take a trip to Luciano’s while you’re in Elko, you won’t be disappointed! The food was tasty, BUT the entrées were stingy on the ingredients; I.e., I ordered the Eggplant Parm in which the eggplant was cut so thin it was almost indistinguishable from the crusty coating! My husband ordered the Chicken Alfredo which had FOUR bite-sized pieces of chicken! The bread served with the meal was cold. That being said, Luciano’s appeared to be a fairly popular eatery. We were sadly disappointed; we travel this route of I-70 frequently, chose to stay in Elko this time and had hoped we’d found a soon-to-be– favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, not so!

We stopped in on our way through town. Luciano’s was the perfect choice. The food was fresh and tasty. The turn around by the service staff was fantastic, and everyone was really friendly. Our dinners fell into the standard Italian fare category: stuffed shells, and mushroom ravioli. Both were well prepared, had great flavor, and were exactly what we were hoping for.

The Crispy Chicken Cobb salad was fresh and full of tender fried chicken strips. The Balsamic dressing was very good. The owners are great people. They kept the restaurant open for us for a late lunch. We were traveling on I 80 west. This was our second trip and will come again.

Wow. My father and I had an incredible meal here on our way through town on a road trip. We were blown away by the extensive menu. There are so many creative dishes with lots of fresh seafood options. Next time we come through Elko we will definitely be dining here again!

I will make this short as was my visit here. I did not actually stay for dinner because as soon as I saw the prices on the menu I had to leave(was out of my budget for just a quick dinner). I will say that the greeters were nice and quick to seat our group. The aroma in the air did smell amazing. Maybe another time when I have about $ 40 per person to spend on dinner, I will stop by and see how the food tastes.
