I was in town for work. Wanted some pizza and beer. Small place. Down to earth staff. And the pizza was actually pretty good. The salad bar was small BUT enough to satisfy. Over all I would eat here again. Cool spot!!!

Ordered The Chicago without onions(we had a later engagement and did not want dragon breath!) Sadly, they ignored our request, offered to re-make it(right…while we wait another 35 minutes… no thank you!) The crust was awful… hard like a thick cracker. Deep dish does not mean that the crust is 1−½ inches deep around the borders of the pizza. The filling was sadly lacking a sufficient amount of cheese for flavor and to help bind the vegetables and meats, all of which were okay otherwise. The young man at the front was extremely pleasant, so add an extra ½ star for him.

We stopped into the ‘Barn back in 2007 or so on our way from CA to UT. We stopped in here after the local chain ‘Hut was understaffed and non-responsive. The pizza is good and has a unique crust which some have described as saltine-like, but I like it. Since our initial stop in 2007, we have stopped two other times and both times have been good. The most recent trip was on a cold December evening(e.g. 5 F). The place was bustling, and there were a few families celebrating birthdays. In addition to the pizza, the beer on tap was good and hit the spot. We’ll hit this place again as we’re making the long drive across Nevada.

It was very busy, especially for a Wednesday night! We ordered a large tostada pizza and a large Hawaiian pizza. The tostada pizza was the BEST I’ve ever had. They made a mistake on our Hawaiian, but the management was awesome about fixing it and making things right. The pizza is great, but when you add great service, it makes a huge difference. They were a little behind with keeping cleaned up in the dining room, but again that is because they were so busy!

We love the pizza here, but perhaps the customer service could step it up! Every single time we’ve been here the staff seems like they hate their lives. A thank you and smile never hurt anyone.

Pan pizza crust was more like dry saltines, sauce + meat was delicious. Medium size is more like a traditional small. Wings? Don’t go there, fatty skin, soggy– a total bummer that they came with a piece of burnt wax paper attached instead if dressing it up with celery or carrot sticks w/dipping sauce. A note to the owners/managers: have the kids working there earn their wage– put them to work giving the place a scrub down & remind them to clean things up instead of clustering around their smartphones. The place has great bones & would be so much fun to hangout in if it where a lot cleaner. Like have you tween staff clean the carpets, scrub the tables, wipe grease off the front doors and scrape the walls… clean & restock the salad bar…

We had the Mediterranean pizza, it was great… white sauce, feta cheese, garlic, basil. Wow. The microbrews on tap were good. This place is worth the effort

Very kid friendly place with games to keep the little ones occupied. There was even a mechanical horse ride that was free. Price of the food was ok. The food was good as well.

Pizza Barn. I have always liked their personnel, but have always hated their pizza crust. I always think of cardboard. I do not like chains, and pizza barn is a little more expensive due to their not being a chain… or wait. are they? they have more than one store… I have eaten there a lot tho because I hate chain pizzas. ma and pa shops are definitely the bomb! I have tried a new non chain pizza place in elko, and the crust and toppings are way better. I won’t mention the name here because I would feel it is unfair. Went to the Fallon Pizza Barn, they really used to be so much better, won’t go again. No bad feelings, but It is not the same as years before.

So far, it’s one of my favorite pizza places in Elko. I had originally tried their pizza at their Fallon location, but it had been a few years. My husband and I decided to give it a try after craving pizza, but not really liking any of our options. We were able to get an extra large pizza(although it wasn’t one of their specialty ones) and 14 wings for less than $ 30.00. All of their food is reasonably priced and it’s pretty decent! It’s definitely the place to try if you are Elko. I’ve had amazing service and all of the people who work there are really nice and truly appreciative of the tips you leave!

Decent pizza joint, it gets a little crowded in here but it seems to flow. The wings are pretty good for baked and their customer service is truly over the top.

The pizza was pretty good but a little expensive and you don’t seem to get very much for your money. They have a salad bar but charge extra to use it. There weren’t a lot of options either. There are some other places I’ll try in Elko before I go back to the pizza barn.

Elko is not exactly a bastion of culinary excellence. But if you find yourself in Elko, on your way to some place else(probably), Pizza Barn is a pretty decent choice. The thin crust pizza reminds me of Round Table, which in my mind is a compliment. The bread sticks have a weird cheesy topping on them which I thought weren’t so good. But if you stick with the pizza(and probably don’t get any weird toppings) you will be satisfied. There’s also a new frozen yogurt place next door which I didn’t get the chance to check out but seems like would be a good place for dessert. According to locals I spoke to, this is the best pizza place in Elko, but again, it’s Elko, so that’s not saying much.

Delicious chicken garlic pizza, could use some more SF Giants décor. Only one trip on the salad bar.

They say, good things come to those who wait. I wish this was the case. We waited what seemed to be about forty minutes for two large pizzas. The service is counter style and the gal taking my order was gruff. When I asked what size a large pizza was, she pointed to a dimly lit wall that was next to impossible to see. The pizzas were loaded with toppings including cheese. A bit too much if there can be such a thing. The crust is a very thin, burnt in some areas, cracker style crust. This is definitely not an authentic pizzeria. And for Fifty Three bucks and some change, I would have appreciated a true Italian pizza. Bottom line: Not bad, but over priced. Still searching for an authentic pizzeria pizza.

We are sitting here in our hotel room, munching our Pizza Barn pizza, a thin crust with 3 basic toppings. On the road from CA to CO, we chose Elko for our stop for the night. We followed the Unilocalers advice and stopped here for a take out pizza & then checked into our hotel room, just across the street. A good, tasty pizza, no complaints at all. Our order wasn’t quite right, but I blame my car-lagged ordering. The thin crust is crunchy & buttery, just the way I like it. The OH ordered a draft beer while we waited for our take out & declared it satisfactory. As far as eating at the restaurant, it looks like a real family place — we arrived near closing time & there were still a few families with lots of kids running around & the tables were in the process of being cleaned up from what looked like a lively evening. So I’m guessing that if you want a peaceful pizza experience, go with take out. But if you are a family with kids & want to enjoy a casual dinning experience, this looks like the place.

Been reading about this place on Unilocal and the local paper. Gave it a try for two hot sandwiches to go. Only a couple of two tops but the sandwich took forever. Wasn’t expecting Quiznos speed, but this was large pizza slow. And, one of the sandwiches was almost 100% wrong. Will give them one chance for pizza at some point.

Driving from CA on our way to Colorado, we decided to stay the night in Elko, NV. The Pizza Barn was right across from the Motel 6 we were staying at and the reviews I had read were very favorable. Wow! This place does not dissappoint! We had a medium thin crust with sausage, mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Delicious mmmmm mmmm mmmm! The local microbrewery bottled beer was much better than the draught stuff. I don’t remember the name of it though… I’d definitely eat here again!
