Five Below

Five Below is packed with a variety of things from t-​shirts, nail polish, yoga mats, candy etc. As the name implies, items are priced at $ 5 or lower. I’ve purchased several things from here and especially like to come grab novelty holiday items. Looking for a sugar rush? They have old school candy like Sugar babies and Boston Baked beans. Neither are my favorite so I opt for the Lemonheads :-)

I happen to stop in this looking for one specific item and wound up spending thirty dollars. If your looking for a variety of items this is the store. Everything in this store is truly five dollars and below. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you find a item you may be looking for.

This is a fun store to check out. It’s the one store I can buy Bubblicious bubble gum! So everything is under $ 5 here. I like this store. I will be back to buy activity sets for winter.

Like it, but it seems more commerialized now. It seems that if you are not buying candy. Everything else is 4 to 5 dollars. Need better staffing. Felt like I was there for hours standing in line, and staff is not that friendly

Quick, in-​and-​out psuedo-​dollar store that’s laid out nicely and offers lots of cool and fun items for the kiddies. Be warned, they will find SOMETHING to buy in here and it’s usually over a dollar. But to be fair, the prices are decent for what you’re getting. Nothing I’ve bought here has broken or was damaged. I like to go here before a movie to buy candy for more than 50% off what they charge at the theatre. I also like getting gift bags and wrapping paper that costs what it should cost. Good stuff, too! Don’t expect warm and fuzzy customer service from the bored teens working here. I feel for them because they do have to deal with tons of kids coming in and destroying the store trying to find ANYTHING to buy.

If it wasn’t for my husband saying I buy too much candy, I would’ve spent way more time browsing around this place. It’s great! Like an upgraded version of the dollar store (though I think you can also find some of the stuff here in a really good dollar store).
Anyways, it’s a little more organized than a dollar store. There are lots of things to choose from. But be careful! Because though it looks like a dollar store, it’s not a dollar store, so things will add up faster than it would!
I say the candies are probably the best bet at saving — unless you want to buy it bulk from costco =)
