Absolutely an undiscovered gem in the region if not the whole state. The food is sublime. Everything from burgers and flatbreads to stuffed chicken Marsala is impeccably prepared. Service is prompt and personable and the atmosphere in an old barn is authentic and comfortable without Cracker Barrel kitsch. Locals know it’s worth finding. Tourists tend to stumble into when visiting the nearby Rogers Sale. Voted best casual dining by readers of Ohio Magazine. Worth the visit but if you order all the stuffed chicken Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli so there is none for me I’m going to be mad.

I highly recommend venturing a bit off the beaten path the eat here. The menu is very well thought out and every dish tastes like it was cooked on the spot with high quality, fresh ingredients. Excellent atmosphere and friendly staff as well.

Stopped in before an afternoon at Rogers flea market. Seated in the bar area overlooking the patio staff very friendly and attentive. They have a good selection of beers at good prices. We had the homemade chip appetizer which was very good. The wife had a salad with grilled chicken cooked perfectly tasty and juicy. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato yummy! They are using local produce and it makes a difference. Will be back!

We enjoyed our fish sandwiches and hamburgers. The side salads were fresh and contained a variety of greens. The service was good and the atmosphere unique.

Pasta entrees were okay, house wine was fine. This used to be a very nice restaurant — now it feels like a tavern/sports bar. It’s overpriced for the venue and the crowd — lots of loud conversations, spilled drinks, ect. The wait staff is a little rough but the job gets done. Don’t go expecting a nice«date night» out — this is more like a stop at the local saloon with the big screen TVs on. As another reviewer noted, «rustic» is a kind description. We returned remembering the Lock 24 of the past — this place bears no resemblance. Doubt we would return.

Drove from Beaver PA the other night for dinner. It took about 40 minutes. We sat in the downstairs area near the water fountain. There was a 1 man band playing in the bar area. Our waitress was friendly and service was good. We ordered the following: the housemade chips with a blue cheese/ranch dip(I loved them), chicken with spinach and artichoke and some seafood dish that contained shrimp muscles and fish. My chicken dish was tasty and enough to bring home for lunch the next day. I did not notice any spinach though. My husbands seafood dish was spotty. the mussles were bad, but everything else was good. Dessert was to go and made in house. He had some chocolate dish and I had the carrot cake. It looked(and tasted MUCH better than the photo they had of the desserts. Our bill was reasonably priced for all the food we ordered. We will come back again.

It was ok. When you first walk in the décor is extremely rustic and I was a little taken back. The service was good, but the food was extremely over cooked. I had the fish that was rubbery and others in my party had steak over done as well. Not somewhere I will be back to.

Great experience. The restaurant is beautiful, friendly staff, great service, and loved the tilapia dinner special. Live music was a great bonus!

Excellent food, prices and wine list. It has a very nice atmosphere and the servers and bartenders are very nice. It is in a country setting yet just a few minutes from rt. 11. This is a must!!!
