I ordered a medium sausage pizza for delivery while visiting ElkTon Md. It came on time and was warm. However it was not overly tasty nor was the crust as great as the previous reviews suggested. It’s an ok pizza when you need a snack. Nothing more.

We don’t get delivery often, but when we do, it’s Mario’s! Last night we ordered a variety of items — delivered delicious and hot at our door by a friendly delivery guy in less than 45 minutes. The Mussels Napoletano, Spinach Calzone and Hot Chicken Parm sub were as good as it gets — thank you! We’ve also ordered catered trays in the past for parties and have not been disappointed.

I order from this place all the time. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant but get delivery all the time! They are quick with the delivery and the delivery people are always friendly. The food is very tasty and you always get large portions. Never had a complaint about this place.

Got a chicken Parmesan and ziti and the chicken was not fully cook. Came to the store to rectify the problem and they wouldn’t accommodate me with my order today. Love this restaurant don’t like there decision to not make good on a bad order. Last visit here.

The pizza wasn’t what made this experience special. What was the real game changer about Mario’s was the titular Mario himself. With equanimity and grace, Mario sauntered down the aisle like an eight grader at a ballerina rehearsal.
I brought my own sauce. But my saucy host brought the heat. The moment he availed his beady eyes to me, I could practically taste the delicious pizza in his soul.
«Give me your everything,» I said.
But as he began to violently remove his shirt, I clarified: «No, the pizza.»

Depending on what you get the food is ok, but they are the most overpriced pizza place I’ve ever been too. I can see if they were in Manhattan & have to offset the cost of rent/​real estate, but we are talking cherry hill plaza in Elkton.

My husband and I come to Mario’s often and it’s one of our favorite restaurants. The dining room is nice and clean and the waitresses are always so nice to us. The food comes out quick and hot and is always so good. They also have a pretty large menu so you have lots to choose from.

This was absolutely the most horrific service I’ve ever received. Only saving grace was that the food was decent but Peyton was the rude from start to finish, the screwed up my check & charged my card too much. No apology, nothing! Made it seem like an inconvenience to fix it. If I could give a negative I would. My suggestion… get the food and RUN!

Vegetables are good for you, especially if said vegetable is an eggplant, breaded, fried, smothered in sauce and covered in cheese, and served on fresh bread!
While I am a vegetarian, The fact that I am also a cigar smoking, beer drinking type should probably clue you in that I’m not a health nut. (Although I do own a nutribullet) The eggplant parmigiana sub here was a great lunch especially with my side order of a pizza slice.
The pizza is a very good thin crust. It would be a true NY Style if The slices were a bit larger and a tad greasier.

Stopped for a lunch break during a long drive and so we weren’t sure what to expect in terms of quality, BUT our experience was GREAT! Very welcoming staff accommodated our dietary restrictions and preferences. Margharita pizza was perfect! Crispy but not overcooked and a wide array of toppings. Overall it a PERFECT lunch spot stop!

I am from the Philly area where there are many great Pizza Places. Marylanders generally have to suffer with less than great Pizza. But no more. Mario’s Pizza in Elkton is excellent. I am in Perryville and drive 30 minutes to Elkton for this pizza. The crust is thin and crispy but not brunt — very good. The cheese and the good (expensive kind) and the sauce is clearly made at the store by Mario who is from Italy.

Being from Jersey, it’s all about the crust. Theirs is perfect. Thin and crispy. I just got my Chicken Florentine delivered. Shredded chicken, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and tons of garlic. Delicious! And the nice bonus is that I live close enough that it’s still piping hot.

Love Mario’s! This place is owned and ran by an authentic Italian man, Mario! My husband and I joke calling him Tony Soprano! I miss him at Brother’s Pizza in downtown Elkton. Ever since he left, the place seemed to go downhill. Mario’s reminds me of the ‘old Brothers’ except nicer décor. This place has great pizza, and I love the Italian focaccia … great food, even better prices.

Great staff. Great food. Decent pricing. I’m a regular there I’d say and they’re always quick and have yet to mess up an order. One of the cleanest pizza joints you can walk into. Only complaint would be the subs which you can tell are made with really high quality products they just are simply always over stuffed with meat. Which I guess is preference and if you ordered it with less, they’d give ya less (they’re still really good!).

I love Mario’s on my lunch break. They are quick, extremely friendly and best of all there food it so tasty.
I keep going back for the grilled chicken salad. The chicken is to die for, very tenter with lemon tastes to it. Very happy with my past experiences.
