Fairpoint Communications

I have been using this Internet for over 2 years now (only because I have absolutely no other Internet options in the area). I rely on the connection being stable and powerful enough to accomplish every day tasks. Unfortunately, there is not a few days that go by where I don’t have issues. Issues are the following: Download speeds average about 3−5mb, not 7 which is what they have in the fine print (7 is horrible as well). Also I have asked to have my service box relocated somewhere out of the rain and snow but nobody ever shows. Another issue is that the connection will cease to exist at least once a day which is absolutely horrible. Sometimes for a whole day or 2. When I called about the issue they just tell you to unplug and plug it back in or offer you another line for double the price. Why would I want 2 lines that don’t work right. If you live in the towns Hotspots, you may be fine but they need work outside of downtown area. I’m just waiting on charter or some other company to offer more efficient and reliable service.

I’ve had internet service through Fairpoint for over a year now and I couldn’t be happier. Excellent signal, excellent service and if my service was down sometime in the past year it was so short that I don’t even remember it. Love these guys!
