I’m really sorry to see that this place has closed. We always enjoyed the theme rooms and the gracious hosts. Hopefully, the new owners will keep things as they are.

Awesome. I travel for work all of the time and when I have the opportunity I love to scout out hotels for their individuality, quality, and unique characteristics. The Inn at Goose Creek takes the cake for Ellensburg, Washington. I can’t imagine theres a cozier, more accommodating place to stay within 50 miles. We went to stay at a chain hotel nearby and quickly noticed some pretty gross attributes so we came here. The hotel is run by an older couple with a great sense of «overdecoration»(I genuinely mean this) and an ability to make you feel as if you’re staying the night at your grandmothers house. The rooms are still themed. We got the frog room and it ruled. Wifi, cable, climate control, breakfast, comfy everthing, jacuzzi tubs, tons of pillows everywhere, knick knacks, and little pepperidge farm cookies on the table every day are included in the very reasonable rate. I don’t know if I’ll ever find another hotel like this but I sincerely hope I do.

I’ve stayed here four times and have been delighted each time. The owners took a chain hotel and remade it with amazing creativity — theme rooms, knick-knacks everywhere, lots of homey touches. A clean, charming inn with warm, welcoming staff who really care about guests’ comfort: it shows in all the little touches that make this place an excellent destination, one that I recommend to all my friends. Continental breakfast gets your day started right. I’ve stayed in the Ivy Room & Rose Room, both of which supplied plenty of opportunities for conversations on the fun décor!

We had 2 separate nights here as a part of a concert tour that had me criss-crossing Washington. Being a musician, I can be a little problematic with space needs, room accessibility and late arrivals. The owners were so gracious and welcoming. Both rooms were very clean and cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Knowing what is around that area, this hotel is waaaay better. You’re also right across the street from D&M coffee!

The Inn at Goose Creek is conveniently located off hwy 97 and also interstate 90. We stumbled upon it late last night and couldn’t have been more pleased. We walked in to a cozy atmosphere and were warmly greeted by innkeeper Gary. We agreed to the very reasonable rates — comparable, if not better than any of the other chain hotels around — and were given our choice of rooms, all which were themed and had images of. We chose the Rodeo room, it was very spacious and clean. What Inn at Goose Creek does really well are all the small details. Gary explained how to use the heat, what channel HBO was, and the room itself had cookies, cotton balls and q-tips(all great little touches). We slept very well with soft linens and black-out blinds. There is also a small continental breakfast which was perfect for a frosted cinnamon roll and grabbing a cup of coffee to go. Highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or making Ellensburg a destination.

A great stop on the way to the Gorge in George… or wherever your travels may take you. Hub and I stopped here after a long night of driving and were, at least initially, totally freaked out by the weird statuettes peering out from the windows! We had asked for a late check-in, though, and got in to our room without further incident. Our room was quiet, yet, as other Unilocalers note, had no view because it was on the east side. Rooms are spacious, and clean. Beds are comfy and proprietors are nice. Décor is way over the top, but in a good way. And we asked for it, too, by requesting the«Christmas Room.» Breakfast was nothing special, but I’m a pretty picky eater. With the reasonable prices, and the quirky atmosphere, though, I still think this is a great find in the Burg.

Yesterday was my husband’s second time running the Yakima River Valley Marathon. Last year we stayed at the Day’s Inn, which was pretty not good. He found Goose Creek via TripAdvisor, and we liked it. Some of the décor is over the top, but it’s clean, privately owned, and quiet. The rooms are large. The continental breakfast was just okay.
