I’m not big McD fan but I must say this is one of the cleanest, neatest, friendliest fast food places I’ve been in. 5PM on a Sunday.

We stopped at the Ellensburg McDonalds for a burger this evening, first time since they remodeled. The place was a wreak, I mean not a clean spot to sit in the place and the drink station was trashed. I believe the owners mean well, as they have built a beautiful building and have awesome landscaping. But wow, this was disgusting. I couldn’t figure out how to get water, so I had to wipe the table with an ice cube and napkins. We won’t be returning and will give other local restaurants our business. The kids at the counter were friendly and the food was… well, normal for McD. I’m thinking the managers should keep a better eye on the dining area, and I would have brought it to their attention, if you could just find one of those.

I ordered a mocha here. While drinking it something big, slimy and nasty plopped into my mouth only the employee knows what it was. I will NEVER eat here again! My family and I were driving on winter vacation and we were having a fine road trip when we decided to stop in Ellensburg for some mcdonalds. I went to the restroom while my family ordered ice cream. I did not deserve any rude service but I got it anyways. Not all the way through our trip I drank the remnants of the mocha I had ordered. Something wet and slimy plopped into my mouth and I spat it onto my finger. I had my son wipe it off with a napkin and my son described it as ‘exactly like a booger on your finger’ I wretched and pulled the car to the side of the road and spent over 5 minutes puking my insides out. This is my worst nightmare of eating out and has forever ruined eating out for me. I had to drive over 200 miles the rest of the way and eventually had to stop and puke again. This will now be a family joke. I demand that restaurant fire the horrible disgusting manager who did this. YES, it was the manager who did this vulgar act. She is one who took my cup around the corner where I couldn’t see. I wouldn’t EVER give this a place a star but unfortunately I have to so that I can submit my review. In fact, I would suggest negative stars, yes… It was that bad. I’m the only one in my family who can drive so even hours later I feel like puking but I had to continue to drive to my destination.

Open on Thanksgiving! Yes, I took my family to a restaurant on Thanksgiving, which probably warrants a brief explanation before I discuss our dining experience. I officially lost my temper during our Thanksgiving ritual when I asked my son what he was thankful for and he mumbled something about dinosaurs. It wasn’t an isolated slip of the tongue. I should have noticed that the proud history of the holiday was lost on my family when, earlier in the evening, my wife surreptitiously attempted to violate centuries-old tradition by substituting fake stuffing for the natural turkey variety. Fed up, and intent on teaching my family the lessons of our forefathers, I loaded them up in the minivan and headed toward the home of it all: Plymouth, Massachusetts. Our own little pilgrimage! I was nearly 120 minutes along in my oral history lesson when I realized I had headed west instead of east. Our plans were dashed and the kids were looking pretty hungry. Fortunately, a co-worker had recently been raving about a place called McDonald’s. Having no idea it was located halfway across the state, I was delighted when we stumbled upon it in our moment of desperation. McDonald’s gained notoriety among locals for its nutrient-rich food, but it hasn’t rested on its laurels. Each customer dictates the ambiance of their own dining experience. McDonald’s makes this possible with their revolutionary in-vehicle dining program. Your vehicle, your dining oasis. A secondary benefit of the program is recognized by diners who lack the agility to extricate themselves from their vehicles. I noticed many of our fellow diners who appeared to be drawn to McDonald’s for that very reason. Finally, the food. I had heard a few rumors of «pink slime,» and searched the menu for McDonald’s flagship product. The feeling of failure had begun to sink in when a teenager ahead of me in line ordered the«pink slime burger.» A secret off-menu item! I repeated the teenager’s order verbatim and threw in a casual wink to let the waiter know that I was«in the know.» My special order was met with a brief eye-roll and audible groan. A small price to pay for making Thanksgiving a first-class experience. If I were to point to one thing that sets McDonald’s apart from its competition, it would be consistency. Each burger is painstakingly crafted to look and taste exactly the same in every respect. The burger patty itself is perfectly round and consistent in texture. The color of the meat is an invariable tone that I can only describe as «weathered asphalt.» The diligent animal selection process was replicated in my son’s chicken meal. If I hadn’t experienced it first hand, I would find it impossible to believe that McDonald’s could find so many cows and chickens of identical composition. When I asked the aforementioned waiter their secret, he was unwilling budge an inch and politely asked me to leave. An old-fashioned company man. This was a Thanksgiving pilgrimage to remember for our family: a little history, a world-class meal, and our own isolating companionship.

The 2 of us went to McD’s just for the heck of it. We went to the drive thru. Our order was a cheese burger and a Big Mac basket plus a iced mocha to go. The Mexican gal had a very hard time speaking English and kept asking for us to repeat our order. I could hardly understand anything she said. When we got our order it was completely different than what our order was. I asked for our money back. They acted liked no one had ever asked for that. It took 10 minutes to get our money. Ellensburg’s U-Totem will be our only choice for fast food from now on.

Just like other reviewers, I can not believe I am actually leaving a 5 star review for a McDonalds. The restaurant was super clean, the food was hot and fresh, they have LED panels for their menu; hell they are LEED certified. Bathrooms are also cleanly. Staff are friendly, happy and personable; one of the workers complimented me on my t-shirt. They have EV Blink charging stations in the front and have I mentioned how clean it is? There is a plaque of the owners as you enter and I applaud them for the work they have put in to make this the best(seriously) McDonalds I’ve been to. There are a lot of fast food places to choose from as you’re driving through town, but I would say, give this place a try.

Decent service, but crappy food. It tastes good but you get this guilty feeling afterwards. Come here for a quick snacks but don’t expect a decent feeling afterwards. The bathrooms are actually decently maintained, and the establishment is clean. Food is moderate in price.

Nice place. Too bad there’s no play area, but nice place and great staff. I jumped on to post this when I saw a sign in the drive thru listing the owners cell phone numbers just in case you have a problem. That’s the old fashioned customer service I look for. Finally, someone who gets it.

Everytime I go to McDonalds on Canyon Road, I am disappointed! I am never given enough sauce when I ask for chicken nuggets, they get my order right 2⁄6 times. It is apparent that employees want to just type in the order quickly and be done with the customer. Be more detail oriented and I know it’s McDonald’s so my standards are already low but this is unprofessional. I don’t mind waiting for my food a couple extra minutes as long as you get the order correct. I give you points because of cleanliness but don’t let the little things fall through the cracks.

Really? Full stars for a Mickey D’s in Ellensburg? Yes, folks. I’ve lost my so-called mind. This McDonald’s is new, clean and IMPRESSIVE… at 8am on a Tuesday… but let’s be optimistic here. There’s ample parking in a large lot, the seats in the restaurant are«cushy» according to a reputable source(my bf with a bony butt) — and the restrooms are… WOW. Imagine walking into a designer bathroom put together with Ikea-grade fixtures and you have something rarely seen in a McDonald’s — clean bathrooms you won’t abhor, because some snot-nosed kids are running around using the toilets as a swimming pool. The bathrooms are so clean and spacious, you’ll think you’ve died and gone to bathroom heaven. Oh yeah. The FOOD. The Egg McMuffin I had is also some of the freshest around — real egg, fresh ham, and not something rubbery that will bounce back at you after falling to the ground. Ellensburg McDonald’s, I’m impressed. And in a good way.
