Utopia Frozen Yogurt and Coffee House

This place has awesome frozen yogurt! I’ve only been in a few times, but have received great customer service each time. It’s a cute atmosphere too. I’ll be coming back!

Utopia was just what I needed for dessert. There were at least six different flavors of frozen yogurt, though a couple of the flavors were out of order, so there may have been more. LOTS of toppings, more than I’ve seen at other frozen yogurt places. I also got a drip coffee with my frozen yogurt, and I have to say that was a very good decision.
I found myself a little nook and read while listening to music and people watching. It seems like a popular date night place, but also good for groups!
There’s also local jewelry which I didn’t take a close look at, but added additional charm.
What kind of book would be written here? A young adult vampire novel with more humorous quips than Twilight.

I am completely in love with Utopia! They have a nice atmosphere, well-​priced food, and great staff.
Most frozen yogurt places have a very clean, clinical look, but Utopia goes for a homey feel which I really enjoy.
Apart from frozen yogurt, Utopia also serves coffee, salads, sandwiches, and a few other simple food items.

Not a lot of yogurt options. Other than that it’s a cute place to buy (virgin) drinks.

Great spot. I have had their bagel sandwiches, froyo, and smoothies and they are all really good. However, it’s a bit pricey; be prepared to spend $ 5 on a bowl of froyo.

Great coffee spot found on our way back from Eastern Washington. Cozy and eclectic with good coffee, pastries, and service. Regulars here are students from Central Washington University. I’d come back here on my next trip past Ellensburg.

The staff have always been super friendly. The new remodeled space is beautiful and rustic (perfect for Ellensburg!). All around great place and great frozen yogurt!

I recently moved to Ellensburg and was looking for a new place to get my daily coffee. I tried a few places, and this is by far the best that I’ve found. The staff is always friendly. The coffee is among the best that I’ve had. I have not tried the frozen yogurt yet, but the bagels and bagel sandwiches are delicious. This will be the go to for coffee, breakfast/​lunch.
The seating and environment is also ideal for studying or chatting. Cozy atmosphere with lots of comfortable seating.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are an abundance of healthy, great-​tasting food options (like their real-​fruit and vegetable smoothies). The restaurant is kept very clean, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This is definitely a must-​go-​to when visiting Ellensburg.

They have rustic furniture and good music.
Highly recommend the smoked salmon spread on their multigrain bagel. Also, their peanut butter banana smoothie is dope.

I work on campus and this is in walking distance. Good coffee and great sandwiches. They have a little of everything so it’s a great spot to visit on break!

Utopia has significantly improved since their remodel. They always have new flavors and a great selection! One of the best froyo places I’ve gone to

I already loved the fro-​yo at this place, and now that they’ve remodeled they also offer options to feed my caffeine addiction! If you «friend» them on Facebook, you’ll know about any of their food/​drink specials and on-​tap yogurt flavors in advance. They also offer free wi-​fi and have some cozy chairs for those that need to do a little studying. I recommend the dirty chai or a cupcake syrup hot chocolate as the drink to order! The smoothies and bagel sandwiches are also very tasty and fresh! If you think you’ll be back (which you will) be sure to ask to start a punch card.

Not very many flavors compared to some bigger ones. I had a little bit of everything and there was about 8 flavors total. I’m definitely going back again though.

This place is downright delicious. You build your own froyo feast and pay based on weight. Can’t go wrong with that! It’s a friendly environment that is always filled with smiles.
After the remodel, the place has a very heart-​warming and relaxing feel. Rustic décor like modge-​podge artwork and mason jar lampshades… Utopia has almost an at home country feel with comfy chairs by a warm fire. Also they now serve pretty decent coffee, along with some other things like breakfast sandwiches and bagels. Not to mention the staff is very aware of peoples needs and always asks of you have any preferences on milk or bread for those who might need gluten free or soy.
If you’re looking for a yummy treat, or a quiet place to study that’s not Starbucks… Utopia is the place to go. And for the cold season, their Holiday Bliss coffee special is yumyumyum!

UTOPIA. And now coffeehouse too– great place to hang out with friends or do homework (they have free wifi).their smoothies are the best!!! No added sugar and all fresh or frozen fruit! A must try is a strawberry banana bananza or the tropical Paradise. The employees and owners are also very friendly!

Even though Utopia is smaller than most of the froyo places that are popping up around here in the greater Seattle area, I have to say I would actually prefer Utopia setting up a shop near my house to another Yogurtland branch!
Utopia only has six flavors at a time, but the machines themselves result in a creamier, thicker texture to the yogurt that almost makes it feel like eating frozen custard. I feel that a lot of the machines that are standard result in a very thin strand of yogurt that can taste icy because there is proportionally a lot of surface area. I worked at Dairy Queen years ago and became accustomed to a thicker stream when dealing with soft serve, so that’s what I like. This all sounds ridiculous when written out, but I swear up and down, the thicker nozzle makes the yogurt feel creamier and less icy on the mouth, which makes it easier to stuff your face with it!
The toppings were fresh, the topping bar was clean, the staff was friendly and most importantly, they had Reese’s Peanut Butter Sauce. This stuff is heaven in a pump can, and for some reason Utopia is the ONLY place I’ve run into that carries it. It totally bumps this place up a star.
