Fyi Finger Print Services

Busy on Saturday’s and limited seating (folding chairs). As it got later say 10:30 more people were coming in and some were sitting on the stairs (Inside) and others had to stand in the entrance way. IT’s basically a house with an office are used for this service. Can hold about 10 – 12 people in the office area. Best I can say is get there early and be sure to sign in on the list at the desk. The guy doing the prints seemed to move people along quickly providing the required services for his customers. Just be patient. There is a TV to watch while you wait if your seated in the office area. Also limited parking on the side of the house but available parking further away if you care to walk.

FYI Fingerprinting was suppose to be open Saturday, March 11, 2016 @ 9 am according to the website and their answering service. 10 customers were waiting at 9 am. Finally got inside a sign said they would not open to 10 am
waited until 10:30 am. They never opened. Answering service did not know where they were not could advise if the could get in touch with owner. About 15 people that were waiting but eventually left. Does not appear to be a reliable company to depend on. Would have left 0 stars but the rating system will not let you.

You will be in and out rather quickly when you get your fingerprints scanned here. I have used their services twice for employment finger printing. They have great service and it feels rather comfortable getting fingerprinted. I got my fingerprints scanned in less than fifteen minutes. However, make sure you bring all your forms filled out prior so that way it’s a faster transition and quicker service time. Also please note that you must bring one form of government issued identification card. I usually take my drivers license. There is no need to make an appointment. They usually open at 9pm. Also they are open for a few hours on Saturday mornings.
FYI… (Get it… FYI… Ok I’m not that funny) This place is located right next to the courthouse on a hill in a little white building.

Fast, easy, quick service! The staff was very pleasant too! A variety of finger printing services located in historic Ellicott City. Only pointer, keep an eye out for the sign/​location. It is easy to miss!

The building is just a bit further up the hill than the courthouse. There’s parking up there, so don’t do as I did and park down below and what up. You’ll see that multiple businesses share the same building (looks like a house), but FYI has no suite number, no worries, it’s inside the front door and to the right, the door is clearly marked.
It’s pretty straightforward inside. Just sign in and grab a chair. There’s a TV to keep you occupied while you wait. Charles was very helpful, and answered questions for me to ensure I got all my paperwork straight. Everything was finished up and I was out of there in about 20 minutes (which included waiting for a buddy to do the same paperwork as I did).
My only complaint is that they use some sort of answering service. There was an issue with my fingerprinting paperwork (Charles called to explain it to me, and left a message). But getting back in touch with him was more difficult than it should have been, and the answering service was clueless (I asked ‘when can I expect a call back?’…they had no idea at all).
In the end Charles called me back the next day and was very helpful.
