Picked up to go food– Orders Santa Fe chicken salads with Balsamic dressing– and a large cheese pizza. The food was ready — hot and extremely delicious. I wish they would deliver to Glenelg! I will definitely order again.

The pizza was decent and the calamari lacked flavor, but the biggest thing was that the turkey sub was miss made twice. We stayed in the Wyndam hotel, however, they took no notice to my exwife saying she was allergic to milk and the continued to deliver it with cheese. The guy answering the phones would not let us talk to a manager nor would he deliver it immediately. 3 hours after ordering they finally got it right. I hope the owner reads this and understands that his restaurant has horrible service and needs to get changed.

Skip it. I got the chicken Parmesan sub, pretty standard fare for a pizza and sub place. While the sub roll was good, the rest of the sandwich was disappointing. The pre-cooked breaded chicken was cut up into small chunks and mixed with a straight from the can tomato sauce and cheese mixture. It tasted weird and I spent the rest of the night with a lump in my stomach, asking myself repeatedly why I finished the sub. I also got a Caesar salad, which was nothing to write home about. I did not try the pizza. I put this place in the category of a cheap, greasy sub joint with semi-passable food, but certainly not worth going out of your way for. I wouldn’t even eat this after a late night of drinking. They really could do a better job. Especially given their location. I hope they step up their game.

We have Roma’s every once in a while. One bonus(for us) is that they deliver. They have many options and everything we’ve had is okay/good. I would not say its amazing and that you should go out of your way to eat here. But it’s not bad! Things we’ve had: Meatball subs A few different wraps Quesdilla-steak A few paninis Calzone-meat lovers Pizza-lots!

I’m not very satisfied with my experiences with this pizza place. 2 times in a row I’ve ordered for a later time and they brought the pizza right away. Their online ordering is not great and I got a coupon from the online ordering company and magically they weren’t taking orders online that day. So I had to call to order and asked them to honor the coupon and they said no. Their problem but I get punished? Annoying. Also punished by having to do the order on the phone, having to repeat everything about 10 times to the person who didn’t speak english very well. They really need to get their act together.

I took my son for dinner last night and from the time we ordered to the time we walked out was one of the most miserable experiences ever. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Unbeknownst to me it had bacon on it. When I asked about it, I was told that I should have known because bacon is on the panini. I ordered a wrap!!! She would not do anything to change it. Then my sons calzone came out swimming in grease. My son took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore. On top of the terrible food, the woman working behind the counter and serving the food was so incredibly rude. Unfortunate for being in a customer driven business. Unfortunately this restaurant is close to us and convenient. However, we will never eat here again.

Great pizza, but they don’t hold back on the grease! Has good service but the quality is defenitly not high. However, three stars for being the best pizza place on route 40!

Fries are great. I’ve found that the experience can really vary based on who’s cooking — I like to get their turkey club and sometimes it comes out unrecognizable! But the grilled cheese and cheese steaks are great!

So far, this is my favorite pizza in Ellicott City. My wife and I usually split the large cheese Monday special. The crust and cheese are very good and it beats all the local delivery chain places.

We ordered the veggie pizza. The toppings were fresh and there was plenty of cheese. It looked amazing, but it tasted bland and the crust was soggy. Yuck! No one likes a soggy crust.

This place is mediocre at best. If you need a delivery then it’s okay. But if you are really wanting a great sub go to Sierra Brothers.

I recently moved from Baltimore to Ellicott City. In the first few weeks after the move we tried every pizza place in the area that would deliver. To be honest, a lot of them in the area were just TERRIBLE! Sub par ingredients and quality, and one pizza even tasted like it had breakfast sausage on it. Just bad. It wasn’t until we tried Roma’s that we found what we were looking for. Great sauce, cheese, and crust on the pizza. Fantastic sandwiches, paninis and fries. Recently I even tried their crab cake sub and even that was good. One of the highlights of the menu are the garlic knots that we now order as a side with every meal. I also love the Eat24 app that they are affiliated with. The app is PERFECT. The whole menu is on there, you can pass the ipad around the room and let people order, and it allows you to use credit cards and PAYPAL. It also lets you tip the delivery guy ahead of time which means no fumbling with money when the food arrives. As long as the quality stays as good as it is now, Roma’s will be our«go-to» delivery spot for years to come.

I’ve eaten at Roma’s several times, but honestly not in the past 2 years. The last time we went in we had a certificate from that we had purchased. The young man at the counter was very rude and said they don’t take the certificates anymore. Now, it wasn’t a coupon, but a certificate you buy(if you’re not familiar with the site). Since we had just purchased it, I figured they should accept it. They would be receiving our money from the site anyway. Well, he had to call the owner at home and make a big deal of it and say it was the last time they were accepting the certificates and not to buy any more. Hey, if they have an agreement with , then they have to honor what people buy from there. They finally did accept it, but it will be the last time we eat there. I didn’t like the way we were treated, and there are many other pizza places around that would love our business.

After ordering pizza here for years, I was craving a burger and didn’t want to leave my house, so we gave it a try. Well, how good could a buger be from a pizza joint? My expectations were low! Well, we were pleasantly surprised by the juicy, hand-formed burger cooked to perfection! The side of fries complimented the meal as well as the fresh fixins. I was just expecting average, something to satisfy my beef craving and I got so much more! Definitly worth a try!

Most of the reviews for Roma’s are a few years old, so after getting this at a friend’s house, I figured I would add my more current thoughts to the mix. The pizza was just ok to me. We added spinach to our veggie pizza, and while there were a lot of toppings, there were only tiny little blotches of spinach We also asked for the crust to be extra-crispy and it wasn’t. As a result, te crust was what I really didn’t care for– it was too bread-y and undercooked. The sauce was actually a little salty too. Not sure how gung-ho I would be to eat Roma’s again.

I tried Roma’s today after seeing so many excellent reviews online. I was underwhelmed with the cheese steak and fries I ordered for lunch. The fries were OK but the sub tasted off — couldn’t quite identify why, but I did not finish it. Also, despite promoting that they use fresh rolls, my roll didn’t seem so fresh. I’ll maybe give them another shot in the future and order something different off the menu, but I will be staying away from their cheese steaks.

One of the most important factors to me in a great pizza is the crust. It can be thick and bready, or thin and crispy… or something in between. Doesn’t matter, as long as its done correctly and well. Roma’s serves a New York style pizza so you better have a really good crust. You can’t cheat on using regular flour, you need bread flour, you need to knead it well so the gluten comes out… you better have a consistent and stable oven to cook it evenly. Roma’s pulls off a great crust. The crust is thin but has a good chew to it and has body for its thinness. They kneaded this dough alot to bring out the gluten. It has just the right amount of yeast to prevent it from being heavy but not too much so it rises and becomes thin and falls apart. The pizza crust was baked thoroughly and very evenly all around an on top… very rare for fast food pizza places these days. Dominoes, Papa John, Pizza Hut could learn from this place. I have had cheese, pepperoni, and BBQ chicken. All were excellent. The cheese pizza was evenly browned for both cheese and crust. The mixture of cheeses was very tasty. The pepperoni was just like a New York version… none of the pepperonis were burnt from the oven. The bbq chicken is not New York… but it was good and tasty. So if its so great… why 4 stars:? The tomato sauce was weak. It is on the bland sweet side… good but just good… not spectacular. I like my sauce with a little more zing to it and more herbs… not a flat tomato sauce. If you crave for the taste of a good New York style pizza, this will satisfy your cravings. Not worth a trip from DC to just go to this place… but certainly worth it if you happen to be by this area on other business… LIKEGETTINGCRABCAKES
