This is a great little Italian place. The food is solid. Decent portions, seasoned well and very tasty. The prices are not bad but this place has some GREAT specials if you know when to go! Monday: is half price pasta night you can create your own dish, picking sauces and noodles. Tuesday: night you can get 20% off take out dishes after 4pm. However the absolute best part of Tuesday’s specials is the half price appetizers and martinis! I don’t care for the sweet martinis but if you do they have some cool fruity or chocolate choices. There is a dry one on the menu I normally get. Stella will make your drink and bring you the shaker so it’s pretty much TWO martinis by the time you finish. Excellent deal! Wednesday: is another great night to come by. It’s buy one pizza get one free. The pizzas are always delicious, wood fire cooked with fresh toppings. My coworkers love the seafood white pizza and order it almost every time we go. Thursday: is a $ 19.95 prime rib special and Sunday is kids eat free but I’ve never been by on those nights so you’ll have to check it out for yourself. Whenever you go it is worth a look! I’ve had the pleasure of ordering a variety of things off the menu and have never been disappointed.

Great local place. You must MUST get the waitress Erika she is so damn awesome. Friendly and prompt. Great food. Seek this one out for sure. The wife and I need to head back soon when we fly back up! The meatballs are awesome as are the scallops.

This place is great. I’ve been here many many times. Buy 1 Get 1 Pizza on Wednesday night is great. Fresh and Hot out of the Oven. Great Pizza. I’ve had other food there too, Calamari, Salad, Fried Oysters, Chicken Parm(you taste so good), Crab Ravioli. All excellent meals. I met Taco, he was my waiter. He was a wonderful guy, great guy. Probably the best waiter I have ever had. He was very attentive, very hard worker, he was on top of everything, he knew the menu. Excellent guy. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Howard County

I’d like to give it more stars but the pizza is a little chewy. Love the pasta with the Stella Notte sauce, and would highly recommend trying it. Staff are nice and the bar is a good place to hang out.

You need to find out what and when those Specials are, cause they’ll save you a pretty penny or two. This is a very expensive restaurant and in my mind, not worth the price tag. Started off with the calamari which looked the like the real deal and the portion size was humungo, but tasted off. Though the breading was thin and crisp, it was seemingly not cooked entirely — leaving traces of flour still on your tongue — making this dish unpalatable. We ate it though, as much as we could muster. Since the hubby and I were dinning with friends(who were enamored with this place, the half-priced apps & martinis), I thought it tacky that I complain. The hubby and I shared an ordinary dish of spaghetti and meatballs. Unlike our appetizers, the portion size was small, though the meatballs were HUGE. I enjoyed the flavorful, sweet tomato sauce and my meatball, which I devoured rather quickly — then hungrily eyed the hubby’s meatball, afterwards. Sometimes this works, this time it didn’t. He finished his meatball up rather quickly as well. We ended our meal with a small slice of smith island cake. The meal, not memorable — but the company, a joy as always!

The food here was delicious. I ordered a build your own pasta dish with penne and a garlic pesto sauce. I went here with friends Valentine’s Day/President’s Day weekend for dinner, and we were seated right away, but the staff seemed rushed and inattentive to the point of almost being rude. If the food wasn’t as great as it was my star rating would be WAY less. I will definitely return with hopes of happier and more friendly staff!

This is a small Italian place located in the Golden Triangle(old Lotte) plaza. I came here with family for Monday lunch, and had a very pleasant experience. We ordered two pastas made to order and one calves’ liver leonardo. The food was good, and the service was prompt. The food may not be amazing Italian, but for the price point and amount of food it’s a decent local Italian place. Additionally, they had a decent selection of Bigelow teas, not plain old black Lipton. I think there could be just a *bit* more pasta with the sauce, but even then, I left lunch feeling pleasantly full. I’d give this place a 3.5, but upping it to 4 because my aunt enjoyed the calves’ liver, and she’s visited and eaten at places across the globe.

We had our office holiday party here… 17 people. For the most part, everything was ok, including the food. The service was below average, not because of the amount of people, but because of the rudeness of the server. She was confrontational with the VP about whether she ordered fried clams or fried ravioli, «yes you did… YESYOUDID.» Really? «You need to stay seated» to the owner of the company because I guess he was getting in her way of clearing the table. Just really a downer for a company trying to have a holiday gathering.

One of our favorite Italian restaurants in Ellicott city. We’ve been coming to this place since the days when it was known as the Pirates Cove and il giardino. This quaint and cozy italian restaurant packs in a great dinner and ambience for a family or date setting. The bar area is kind of cramped, blah and outdated. The bartenders weren’t friendly at all but whatever our real server for dinner was very nice and on point. At the end of the nite I spoke Italian with her. I also spoke a little Italian with the hostess who my family has seen a million times and I had no idea she spoke fluently :) our dinner was excellent. The dining area is beautiful. You’ll love this place.

This is a very nice restaurant. It is locally owned and the chef is wonderful. The best dish is the egg plant Parmesan.

Went for my birthday & I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our server was wonderful & the food was amazing! Everything was perfectly cooked & flavored, & delicious. It’s the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. I loved how beautifully the place was decorated for fall. We caught some specials & got half off apps & drinks which was great. They gave me my pick of dessert for free & made the experience perfect. Definitely want to come back soon!

I was in the area for work and our group decided to eat here. The restaurant is located in sort of the parking lot of a grocery store and not easily recognizable but we eventually found it. The outside could use some renovation but inside was nicer. We were seated in the outdoor patio. The ambience was really nice. I loved the«trees» growing inside and the lighting was low that gave it a cozy feeling. I ordered a glass of the malbec which was good. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed which is to be a little expected since we were such a large crowd but we did make the reservation ahead of time. Our waitress was attentive and nice but I could tell from a couple of the other tables that had to wait for drinks, they weren’t so happy. I ordered the shrimp and sausage paella and it was absolutely delicious! I ate every single bite that my table mates made fun of me saying they thought I was going to lick the plate! I might have if I wasn’t with coworkers ;) Our table had a mix of people that ordered the shrimp and scallop scampi and the chicken parm. I was told all were delicious. It took awhile to order my second drink which I had to ask the person clearing my plate to let our waitress know. Our table ordered dessert, we had the lemon cake, Smith island cake and oreo cake. The smith island cake was by far the best one! And we found out it’s also the Maryland state cake. When we were getting our checks we were told that we would not be able to split the checks which I had never had any issue with. We weren’t told this when we put in our reservations so if you plan on that, this won’t work here. They can split the check completely in half but not even by what you order. Good thing we brought cash! Overall, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp and sausage paella and wish it was right around the corner so i could order takeout.

I have no idea why this place has good reviews as it is beyond average Italian food. The ambiance is pleasant and somewhat cozy and the service was good. The menu was pretty big and had lots of appetizer, entrees, pizzas and pastas. We got the tomato mozzarella appetizer which was fine but I’ve had better and the calamari which Tasted fine. For our entrees we got that gnocchi which was again average and a bit salty, the lobster Mac and cheese which was good and the steak which was average.

I love this place. The ambience is cozy and warm. Everyone is very friendly and service is great. The hostess is so warm and inviting. The food tastes very fresh and they makes good changes to their menu fairly frequently. They have great variety to their menu and delicious desserts. I love their homemade marinara with fresh tomatoes, angel hair, and spinach or artichokes. If only they made their own pasta, then it would feel truly Italian!

Good, solid Italian food for not a lot of money. My gnocchi in tomato sauce was $ 14, and there was a lot of it. Ambiance is lovely, and the wait staff was terrific. I will totally come back.

This place is really a hidden gem located in the same shopping center as Lotte.(korean supermarket) My hubby and I have passed by this place for like 5 years now and always thought it was shut down or something haha. Fortunately, we tried this place the other night and it was DELICIOUS! Customer service was excellent and even the owner came by to tell us good night before she left. First off, the bread is SOFREAKINGGOOD! It was so warm and soft, it just melted into your mouth. I love me some good quality bread like that. We also got the Coconut Shrimp appetizer since it was ½ off appetizer Tuesday!!! It was so good… that I’m like salivating just thinking about it. Our entrees was excellent and very delicious. We even brought home leftovers because the portions were VERY healthy. I will definitely be coming back for our Italian food fix. YAY!

Very clean, attentive wait staff, warm and inviting atmosphere, appealing décor. What more could you ask for? Not sure why this eatery isn’t packed.(Probably because it is sandwiched between two off ramps. not initially easy to get to.) Nonetheless, this is a great alternative if Carraba’s, Macaroni Grille is overbooked, or you don’t feel like driving out to Columbia or Owings Mill. I believe you will get what you pay for. I enjoyed my experience here. I will return to find a favorite dish.

This place is one of those hidden gems. Nestled in the Hmart plaza towards the front, I’ve often passed it but paid NO attention whatsoever, dismissing it as some oddball Italian joint. Note: their online menu is old; I guess it’s good to know their business is so solid that they seemed to have loyal clientele, even with a totally outdated website! Upon entry, we were greeted warmly by a mom-like female who said«welcome to the best Italian food in the area!» We joked that we’ll see about that after we try the food, and she chuckled at us. I like how they have 3 different but distinct«zones» for diners. We were seated in the«Old Italy» section near the wood-fire oven. Just behind us was the terrace area which is kind of like a greenhouse. I caught a glimpse of the bar area beyond the bathroom, and it was very blue and dark. The so-soft baked bread came covered by a cloth and the olive oil & parmesan dip was heavenly. We couldn’t decide what was better in the grilled scallops appetizer: the perfectly grilled scallops themselves, or that delectable bed of spinach cooked with rosemary and garlic! So spot on in every way. Mmm. I ordered the scallop & shrimp alla scampi, and it was pretty delicious, very mild garlic & butter sauce and the shrimp and scallops were fresh. Overall, I enjoyed the nice & cozy – but not snobbish atmosphere, the selection of food(I would come again: scallops michelangelo – we will meet one of these days) and had a wonderful time. One note: They offered us dessert on a platter and they looked good, but I thought it was weird to have a platter, which I saw sitting outside in the open, stuck under your nose where so many people have breathed on it. I was a bit paranoid that they’d give us whatever was on that platter so my instinctive response was: no. But later, I saw them bring out separate plates of cake. So if anyone is sees that, don’t worry, it’s just how they present the desserts in slices.
