Love this place! I have fallen in love with all things Korean beauty and I’m so glad to have a shop nearby. I have been buying online only up until now but I will be coming to this store often. Lots of great sheet masks, skin care and makeup. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. Highly recommend!

So I went there today and got a few items. I also went last week but tonight I used the honey black sugar scrub, the lemon herb day cleansing foam and the herb day massage cream. They’re amazing and I love the way they made my skin so nice and smooth and I felt refreshed. The customer service was good too. I like the reward program. It’s definitely my go to place now. The lady was very friendly and kind. She was understanding as well. The place is so cute. And I love the fact that they’ll give you samples of things. I was in and out very shortly. Overall fantastic.

I love this store!!! Came here on Saturday for some face mask and I wanted to buy everything!!! Had to control myself. My sales person also signed me up for their savings card which is cool because I’m definitely coming back. I love their facial products, works really well. Highly recommended for people looking to improve or work on their skincare: D

Wow, who needs Ulta or Sephora when you have a place like this? I actually came in looking for hair color, with no idea what else this store carried. Bright and clean and inviting with a cheerful and friendly lady to guide me around the goods, I suddenly remembered that all of my makeup staples were on their last leg and needed replacing. So in my basket went eyeliner, mascara, lip color (such pretty shades!) and also the most natural eyebrow tint I’ve ever tried. Then grabbed an eyelash curler (magic touch), which turns out to be the best and most effective one I’ve ever owned. I usually do the whole «heat up the curler with the hair dryer routine» with my ancient metal curler and this does a better job with no heat and less time. What a treat and perfect place to get and try some quality Korean cosmetics!

I was literally planning to make a trip to Nature Republic in NYC until I found out that The Face Shop is literally 36 minutes from me. I’ve never been to The Face Shop so I haven’t familiarized myself with their products, but I did make a list based on reviews. When I first came in, it was super bright but the store was very clean in general. I was greeted and helped by Jenny. She was so friendly and helped me immediately. I handed her my list and she also worked with my skin type and of course recommended products.
Jenny was very patient with me, as I can be very awkward at times. She assisted me in sampling products, like BB cream, eyeliner, lipsticks, and general stuff for my skin. I have oily skin but some parts of my face can get dry. She even sprayed this Green Tea moisturizing mist on my face, I couldn’t help but laugh but it felt very light and soothing on the skin. I think I filled up four baskets, the baskets are super small but she didn’t make me carry all of it so that’s a plus. She just had to set it on the counter for me. Overall, my experience was very pleasant and I didn’t feel pressured or judged at all. I will definitely remember her, for I will definitely be taking my mother here for her birthday! :)
As soon as I got home I tried The Face Shop SECRET lip tint, Jenny recommended I get the plum color since she also pointed out products other people enjoyed. As soon as I put it on, OMG. I fell in L O V E with this color, LITERALLY super natural plum lips! So far very excited to try out all the products. I got like a bag full of samples as well. I’m going to be a regular for sure! Thank you Jenny and The Face Shop!

When I first drove pass this place I probably got a little too excited. But I love this store! Maybe I haven’t been out and about much, but I didn’t know they had locations in the area and had only seen them outside the country. I love their skin care products. And the 2 women that worked there were extremely friendly and not creepy «let me follow you around the store» friendly. They really helped out if you had any questions. I would just make sure you have some prior knowledge on what you’re looking for because you don’t want to get anything that you may have a negative reaction to. I’ll be back soon.

What an odd and delightful experience. I arrived at the Face Shop never having tried Korean beauty supplies before, not really sure of what to expect. I was looking for sheet masks for a ladies night party I was hosting.
Unexpectedly, it was their 1 year anniversary sale and everything was 20%off. I was immediately greeted by a very cheerful, heavily made up, and loud sales lady who showed me around the store.
I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes. I bought 6 sheet masks (5 character and 1 acne) an acne toner, a Konjac Sponge and an eyebrow and lash brush. $ 37 out the door. The very cheerful sales girl also packed my bag full of lots of samples and a bonus character mask. It was very different than shopping at a Sephora, or a department store. I enjoyed the experience a lot and plan to come back soon, with friends.
As an aside the Character face masks were a big hit! (they smell so nice an leave your skin feeling so silky) and I LOVE my charcoal Konjac Sponge.

You must stop in! Even just to look around. Being the first Korean cosmetics stores in the neighborhood, they have great things, and mostly anything you can possibly imagine. From face masks, to packs, to moisturizer, to nail polish, to body mists, to much more! Very friendly staff, especially this one young lady who seems to know exactly what shes doing! Prices are affordable, and I never leave empty-​handed.

I am addicted to Korean skin care, and if you’re not, you’re missing out! I love Korean skin care and have been making the trip to New York to get to my skin care fix. I love that this location is semi close to me.
As most Face Shops go, it’s smallish but stocked full of all the regular things. I love sheet masks and theirs are some of my favorite (I’ve tried a bunch). You can peruse the make up, try pretty much all of the products and chat with the nice employees.

A friend and I decided to make a quick stop before dinner only to browse, but we ended up walking out with a few items due to the friendly and knowledgeable sales associates. The store is clean and well organized but what really makes me give this store five stars is the welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. I love sheet masks from the face shop. Avocado, kelp, pomegranate, and lemon are just some of my favorites. During my last visit, I purchased a pore minimizer and oil control balm. So far I love the fresh scent and the light texture of both. I hope they do what it says it will. Anyways, be sure to get their reward card for extra discounts if you plan on being a repeat customer like myself. I can’t wait to go back!

So glad to see The Face Shop in Ellicott City. Now I don’t have to drive down to Annandale. The employees were very friendly.

There’s adequate parking in front; prices range, but it’s got a great variety of products that are affordable for skin care and make up as well. I don’t use Korean make up, but I like their face masks on stressful days. Go take a look~!
They were having some Grand Opening sales/​promotions the other day when I visited, not sure about now though. They give you a couple freebies to try as well, with your purchase!

Great Korean skincare products with friendly, knowledgeable staff. In the same shopping center as Han Joong Kwan and a bit smaller than the Annandale location, which could be a problem when it’s busier. Only downside for me was that there’s no seating (smallish interior, remember?) and I ended up standing next to a massive HD image of who I can only assume is a Korean drama star, and got to know each of his pores very well.
