Don’t even waste your time reading this review… Head straight to the Sky High Adventure Park at Holiday Valley and go get to it! I like to exercise and I like fun, but I never thought the two of them would come in the same package like they did on the high ropes course. With there being about(8) different courses to choose from ranging in ability/level of difficulty, it was an afternoon filled with non-stop bursts of fluid from the adrenalin glands(excitement), pituitary gland(happiness), and sweat glands(sweatiness). Well worth the $ 50 or so dollars for a few hours of entertainment and experience. You’re given a harness with two d-ring style hook-ups attached to it, and your own personal zip line tool for zip lining. You hook into the base of your course of choice(the yellow course is for beginners, the(2) blue and(2) green courses are for intermediate, the(2) black diamond are for experienced and the double black diamond is for more experienced users). You hook in at the base of course of your choosing and begin negotiating obstacles requiring some upper body strength, balance and technique. Don’t think you’re too cool for the lighter colored courses: I had the most fun on those where the black courses were more of an actual workout. If you’ve ever been zip lining before and realized that it’s stupid, you’re right, but some of the obstacles at the high ropes course require you to zip from one tree stand to another and it is much more exhilarating than regular, stupid zip lining. If you zip lined before and liked it, then you have to love this course… The comparison would be that if you like to eat raw, unsalted peanuts, and one day someone hands you a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Naturally, that peanut butter cup will fully convince your mouth that it will kick a peanut’s ass. SAFETY: Really, this is a non-issue. You can run the risk of injuring yourself just like any person can while doing pull-ups, or other body weighted exercises, but the risk of falling is significantly diminished by the safety protocols at the park. Those protocols being(1) you’re given an exhaustive safety brief and the ability to practice before you head up the hill and begin,(2) safety instructors ensuring every person«hooks up» before beginning a course, and(3) once«hooked up» to a particular course, you cannot disconnect until you safely and successfully navigated the 10 or so obstacles per course. Why did you read this whole review??? You’re wasting time! Get to the Sky High Adventure Park and do it now! [CORRECTION: There are(13) courses to navigate]

SOO much fun!!! A greta activity for a group of friends, family or even team building for a company. Must try next time you’re in EVL during the spring or summer months.
