Who would have thought you could find some of the freshest, most awesome sushi in Ellijay, GA! It’s here!!! The rolls are also excellent!

Hmm. Well I’ve been to dozens of sushi places and this one definitely reflects the cooks Thai heritage of sweet sweet sweet. The miso soup was sweet, the sushi rice was sweet. One of my chefs choice sushi sushi was imitation crab and my California roll had imitation crab. Decent quality of the sushi made with fish. The lunch special was good more Chinese than Japanese. Very pleasant and clean décor. Friendly staff.

Starters
Fried Calamari was excellent, crisp and served with good marinara sauce.
Garden salad w/​ranch dressing was small but fresh. Chicken soup was different for a Japanese restaurant but good.
Main course
2 candy rolls — Mmmm so good! Perfect for the non-​adventurous sushi eater.
Ninja hibachi — steak, chicken, & shrimp were cooked perfectly and complimented by a flavorful teriyaki and fried rice.
Don’t let the look of this awkward Italian themed restaurant fool you. The food is great. Servers were an awkward bunch (you’ll see what I mean, lol) but very friendly and attentive. Wasn’t very busy when we went, maybe 2 other tables plus us.

Great food. Exceptional sushi chef and their portions and rolls are big. We thoroughly enjoy eating there & go every week. Everything is fresh and very tasty.

Great sushi place with amazing service. great looking restaurant it isn’t Asian looking atmosphere but it has a awesome looking Italian décor. Delicious sushi and hibachi! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

First time here. We arrived at 645 on a Saturday night and were seated within 5 minutes. So far so good. They serve sushi (the bar is in the corner and is elevated) but we opted for the hibachi dinners. This isn’t typical hibachi where it’s prepared in front of you… this is cooked in the kitchen.
I ordered scallops and filet. The others in my party ordered chicken and steak.
The salad was ok… Ginger dressing on iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots. The soup was warm, not h 1000
ot, and was just chicken broth with a chopped scallion or two and a sliced mushroom. Bland and lukewarm.
Dinner came fairly quickly. All of the chicken items and my scallops were covered with a thick teriyaki-​type sauce (not mentioned on the menu or by the server). The filet bits were small but cooked to order. The steak bits were overcooked. Mixed vegetable consisted of overcooked zucchini and onions, also in that teriyaki sauce. The fried rice was just that, fried. Didn’t have anything in it but a couple of scallion pieces.
The service was good up until the check which took twenty minutes to get. The servers were running through the restaurant but there seemed to be plenty of them. Our server was friendly.
We will not be going back. Bland food, not hot, not good, slow service.

Very nice atmosphere the food was wonderful the price was amazing The service was so friendly and willing to do just about anything to help. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. This is the best sushi restaurant in Ellijay.
