A MUSTSTOPDURINGYOURVISITTOELLIJAY! We actually stumbled into this store by accident because we were just walking along checking out the stores. When we realized that we were in a painting studio, our immediate thought was to back out quietly but we were invited to stay. The owners were very nice and while my husband engaged the Mr, I engaged the Mrs. She is a former teacher and we just had wonderful conversation about the Civil War and its place in history and Georgia and various other topic. This would be the kind of studio where I could actually sit down and paint because this requires patience and I would have to be able to multi-task or have some good active conversation going on to stay focused. I would bring in a tall beverage and just chill because I could definitely talk to these people all day. These studios are popping up all over the place but for me, this place was very welcoming and spoke to my heart and intellect. You must find the spot that fits and for me this was the perfect fit. Now, I just need to get them to move a little further south! In the studio today was a family that appeared to represent three generations, mom, daughter and grand-daughter, they just sat quietly painting and were really focused on their art. Painting is such a peaceful activity and can definitely be enjoyed by all ages. The studio has a variety of items to paint and once they are completed and fired, they will actually mail them to your home. What a great way to create a lasting memory of your visit!

I love this long standing local pottery shop! I bring my little girl and she absolute loves going here. The owners are super nice and very helpful. The one owner teaches pottery classes one on one. You can watch him work in the window. You can also see local work for sell in the front of the store. My favorite thing is to paint my own little projects beside my daughter and chat with locals. When you look at some of the prices you have to remember it’s for EVERYTHING. That’s tour pottery, all your paints, and firing. Not to mention the new friends you may meet, priceless.
