Ellington Pizza

Every time I have had this (always takeout) it’s amazing. Salads are huge fresh and filling! have got them multiple days in a row! That good! Avocado chicken and buffalo chicken are my favorites! Tons of toppings on the salad unlike other pizza places around. Pizza is also always on point. Have yet to try grinders or dinners but I’m sure they are amazing as well. Definitely recommend Ellington pizza!

I’ve eaten pizza from here a few times and I have yet to have any complaints. It is exactly the kind of pizza you crave when you want pizza. I tried the chicken bacon pizza and it was phenomenal. I have a favorite pizza place near my home and they make a good one, but Ellington Pizza took it a few notches up and made it unforgettable. The jalapeños were a perfect touch.

After a disappointing chicken parmesean months ago at Paul Pizzza, I decided to try it at Ellington Pizza. I was not disappointed. Not only was the chicken very flavorful and moist, but the serving was enough for two meals. This will definitely be my go to place for Italian meals.
My only complaint is that when it says bread comes with the meal, make sure its there. I know it’s a small thing, but you need to have all the components to the meal that you advertise.

We ordered from here for the first time, they messed our order up and when we called to ask a question the girl on the phone gave myself and my boyfriend an attitude
Poor customer service for one!
Told him «she was done with it «meaning the conversation
Told him he can come down put the sauce on the wings
We had a simple order and called not to complain but just ask them if that was how their wings came
They admitted they messed up but did not have to take it to the next level by being extremely rude
— We will never go there again!

The staff was good, but that is about all I can say good about the place. We went during the summer and they had one window unit to try and compete with the heat from outside and the ovens. Not a comfortable eating environment. We got pizza and it was bland. Even my son who loves pizza asked to not go back.

I usually make it in to Ellington Pizza to pick up my grinder a couple times a month. I’m never disappointed! My favorite is ham and cheese, good portions of ham, tasty melty provalone, fresh lettuce and tomatoes… my mouth is watering just writing about it. I’ve grown up in the neighborhood, and Ellington Pizza was always a regular treat. They also make a great eggplant parm grinder, better than many others that I’ve tried elsewhere.
While I almost always get a grinder here, I’ve got no complaints about the pizza. The pizza is not the best I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely passable. Personally I think the sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste, but it’s always well cooked with a crisp crust that has bite.
I haven’t experienced dining in recently, I always get my order to go… but considering that the owners are friendly, the staff polite, and the place clean and homey, I’d likely have no problem eating here if I didn’t live 2 minutes down the road and prefer to eat at my own table.

Great pizzas and grinders. My family pick up food there at least once a week. The staff is so very nice and serve has always been great for us.

Don’t like. Why. Me and my man want to eat. Pizza wasn’t cook. Next day didn’t feel good. Not going back der gen.

They were open during the October power outage which was helpfull to many. I always have a good grinder here. The eggplant one is excellent. It goes well with a glass of merlot.

Awesome pizza made with real cheese, the crust is just great. You can see the pride in the business, starting with the clean windows and kitchen. Only complaint is when they put down your food they run away (as most kids do) without immediately asking if you need anything else and they wait until you are done before asking you if everything is OK. But the food is great here. I highly recommend it.

I started a Unilocal account just to review this place. This awful, awful place. How they’ve stayed in business for so long is beyond me. Grew up in the area and my family/​neighbors always avoided eating there. Just moved back into town, ordered a few more times from there, all with pure disappointment from all parties. Horrible, horrible pizza. Even their specialties.
The crust is bland, dry and thick, tomato sauce is terrible and the place is a dump! Even their grinders were poor quality, I’m sorry but sausage shouldn’t be so chewy that you can’t even bite into it.
Somebody put them out of business so this side of Ellington/​Vernon can get some decent pizza for the first time in years!

Not very good. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites of pizza.
