Ellington Travel

We had a wonderful experience booking our honeymoon with Lorna at Ellington Travel! Yes, it may look like a small sketchy house from the outside, but they really do a great job. From the first meeting, Lorna was honest, presented many options, and worked hard to check all available prices. Even after we left the office, she sent along a lot of information so we could make our best choice. She ended up booking flights and the resort under budget, and we were incredibly happy with our trip. When we met with her to go over final plans and pick up our travel documents, she gave us a bottle of champagne and a card to congratulate us on our wedding… now that’s customer service! This is our first time using a travel agent, because we feel like we can handle it on our own, but we really enjoyed working with Lorna and will return.

Quite frankly I am the first person to utilize a small business… I am a strong proponent of giving my business to our local commerce. Never again. This is an unprofessional and very questionable operation. Almost to the likes of an over seas scam. They don’t have an official office or website. Possibly a basement in a eastern European country. The «Travel Agent» Lisa spoke to me as a door to door vacume cleaner sales person. She kept asking me for my credit card numer!!! The price quotes for simple hotel rooms and flights were so inflated she made me feel as if I have never traveled. Offensive and disturbing. I will be contacting AAA and the State Attorney General.
