What a wonderful course. Deceptively tough with uneven lies, sloping fairways and undulating greens the course plays tougher than it’s rated. It tests your game but it’s a fair test with no gimmicks. Plays like an old time course ! I would recommend this course to anyone. I’m a former 10 handicap player coming back from an injury. Can’t wait to play the blue tee’s ! This place is a bargain at $ 35.

This course is one you should consider playing. It is an 18 hole public golf course hidden in the hills of Ellington, CT. First off, I will talk about the front nine. The first hole is one that if you hit the slope of the hill, it will roll a little ways down. A few other holes are like this. But one thing I have noticed is how the greens are ridiculously hilly. For example, I got it on the green in three and since the greens are SO unpredictable, I three putted for bogey. Don’t make the same mistake that I did. I suggest if you are going to play, play the back nine. It is not as hilly but the fairways are very tight so make sure to hit it straight. Overall, this is a beautiful course away from society and a great challange for any golfer. The only reason I gave it four stars is that it floods a little when it rains, so plan accordingly. Must play!
