Am new to the area and don’t know anyone here, which means flying somewhat blind and needing to find new places to have everything from vehicle maintenance & repair to personal maintenance & repair done… Saw several positive comments here and there about the quality of the work that comes out of the J W Smith shop. I’d hit a porcupine that I swear was the size of a Blue Heeler dog, and it displaced the plastic shrouding under the front end of my car – and I needed to make 1400 mile [round trip] three days after that shrouding dropped down and was rubbing on the front wheel… I dropped in at J W Smith to see when they could look at the car, and Andrew had the crew pull it right in to the shop to not only see what needed to be done, but also what they could do to get me on the road and back again. They secured the shrouding so it withstood the long trip – even through the snowfall of Jonas! – and ordered the part that needed to be replaced, and told me to bring the car back in when it was convenient for me to do so. The full repair has been completed, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received nor the work that they did… both the temporary patching for my convenience AND the permanent repair. I have found my go-​to place for auto body work in my new location, and I’m not easy to please – most definitely recommend J W Smith AutoBody Inc. Thanks, guys!
