Days Inn Ellis

I love Unilocal!Planning for a road trip with my parents, it was my job to find a reasonable hotel near Hays, KS, our midway point between CO & OK. Multiple reviews suggested the newly built Days Inn in Ellis. Clean, quiet, friendly staff and a free and adequate continental breakfast. The hotel also features Free wifi, comfortable beds and it was close to the interstate, too. We’ll probably stay there again on our way back too!

The suite was extremely clean, had tons of space, included a full refrigerator and was very affordable. We had a wonderful stay and great experience.

What a lovely oasis in the midst of a long, hard driving day! Clean, friendly, comfy and the heat pump cooled the room with a gentle, quiet hummmmm. Rattly, loud old hotel heat pumps are the bain of a good nights sleep on the road.
Cancun Mexican food and diesel gas right across the street? Stop in Ellis, KS, you’ll be well fed, well rested and ready for the next leg of your journey. Happy Trails.

This hotel was great. The rooms were clean the staff was very friendly. They even had a pool, hot tub, and fitness room (which had a treadmill, elliptical, bicycle machine and a lifting machine that many exercises could be done on). Breakfast was also included and was nice. Two thumbs up!

Nicest Days Inn I have ever visited. Very clean and comfortable. Nice variety of pillows. Quiet. Will definitely stay here again. Great deal!

This hotel is immaculate, up to date and tastefully decorated. It is pet friendly for small animals. The breakfast was typical and just fine. The heater in the room was quite and we’ll maintained. Even the bed was comfortable and that says a lot as I am very picky.
We had dinner at the Mexican restaurant across the street and it was good too.
I would definitely stop here again on one of my cross country trips.

Probably the cleanest hotel we have been too. Very bright hallways and larger than most, rooms.

To be honest, I’m a little shocked to be giving a Days Inn in the middle of nowhere five stars myself… but they truly earned it… in my heart.
You see, I was on a cross country road trip with my brother, I found and booked this place on
. I booked based on costumer reviews and price. This place fell in the right range. We got in pretty late, and the truckers were already taking naps across the street in the gas station parking lot. We walked inside and it was a completely refurnished hotel. The woman at the desk was delightful and was sure to tell us about all of the amenities. Check-​in was a breeze. We booked a two queens room. It was huge. I didn’t feel squished in the slightest. The bathroom was also huge and SO CLEAN. Like, pearly white. We were pretty exhausted, but both of us were surprised and pleased with the quality of our stay.
Soooo… if you happen to need a place to stay in the middle of Kansas off of 70 and you’re on a budget. Definitely pick Days Inn Ellis (NOT HAYS. IT’S A MOTEL). You’ll love it!

Great road side hotel. If you are going west pass Hays and stay here. Food options are subway, pizza and a Mexican restaurant. There is a loves right across the street.

This is a great find like the previous review said! Very clean… greaaaat continental breakfast… Indoor pool and spa. little gym. And right off the freeway! It were on the road again id stop here!

Clean, spacious room and showers, comfy beds, fair prices and right off 70. Only downside was the complimentary breakfast left a lot to the imagination. But, all in all, a good option to stay based on the area.

This place is a hidden gem! Brand new hotel and it’s cheap. You can’t beat that! Stumbled upon it on the way to see friends in KC. Usually I don’t care for days inn hotels but they are the exception. It was a big plus that they’re right off I-​70 and across the street from loves.

We stayed one night here on our way to Colorado and we were very pleasantly surprised!!! Brand new, nice comfortable beds, tall ceilings, great shower, flat screen tv, wall controlled a/​c, decent size pool and hot tub, and good breakfast. My only suggestion would be to offer some sort if protein for bfst (eggs, bacon, etc). Staff was friendly and prices very very reasonable compared to other hotels off I70. There’s a pizza place that delivers and a subway across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling thru kansas needing a place to stay (in the middle if nowhere!!) We are planning to stay here again coming back from CO.
