Excellent food, my husband has celiac and we love to eat out but always have trouble finding places that are 100%dedicated, until now. Perfect place to eat if your gluten free or not, food and baked goods were amazing!

Finding a place where I can take my daughter whose is gluten and dairy intolerant and a vegetarian and picky as hell is impossible. These guys make the impossible possible. She was thrilled and everything I ate was fantastic. For those non-vegetarian non-gluten free and non-dairy free you’ll love it. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of pork sausage. You must try this. One of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The owners are a truly nice couple. Go out of your way to eat here. It’s worth it.

This place is amazing. My wife can’t have gluten or dairy, so of course we were excited to find«a new day». They make delicious stuff, but for us ordering a yearly tradition of a birthday cookie cake has become something to look forward to. And not just any cookie cake. They were happy to accommodate a custom double layer cookie cake with icing in the middle. It’s awesome. Great service. Great food/baked goods.

100% CELIACFRIENDLY!!! Aside from being a dedicated gluten free facility, and having the absolute largest GF menu we’ve ever seen… They bake their own breads, pastries, quiches, cookies, and cakes. They have pastas, appetizers, sandwiches, soups, eggs, pancakes, waffles, etc etc etc… And it was all DELICIOUS! Super friendly staff, family owned, cozy inside for sit and eat, but tons of grab and to go options to take home. I only wish I lived closer… We need more places like this!

I’ve been gluten intolerant for 2 years and worried about my dining options on my recent visit to St. Louis. I consider it an epic win to have found this place! My best friend, also intolerant, and I went mid-day and both got the Turkey/Bacon Club with the homemade potato salad. We were not disappointed one bit and proceeded to eat everything on our plates. One advantage of living in a humid climate is that the GF bread was noticeably moister than in the arid desert in which I reside. Although incredibly full after our sandwiches, we opted to get some gooey butter cookies for the road ;) I have never been happier consuming those cookies! Another reviewer cautioned about these cookies being addictive and that was no lie HA! I wanted to try everything in the bakery and hope to do so on my next visit! German chocolate cupcakes, I’m coming for you next time.

CULINARYSORCERY! gooey butter cookies(should come with a warning label — dangerously addictive!), german chocolate cake and cinnamon rolls — all fresh, moist, with perfect«even better than the real thing» texture and consistency — nothing short of magic! and the proprietors are just as sweet as the confections they lovingly serve up. my journey hitched to the glutard wagon has been a long and arduous one, and with all my travels(see my reviews) I can easily say this is the best gluten free bakery I have had the pleasure to patronize INTHEWORLD. the only negative thing I can say is that if I lived anywhere near here I would weigh a metric ton, so enter at your own risk ;)

Lovely people here! Nice to know there are plenty of places like this around! I highly recommend the«Find Me Gluten Free» app if you have food issues! We have found so many great places to eat through this app! Highly recommend this establishment as well!!!

People will definitely eat here due to dietary restrictions, so the chef should aim to create delicious and nutrisious food. This food is just awful. Un-healthy slop you’d expect to be served in a hospital cafeteria. Had the Pasta con Broccoli special. The pasta was cooked beyond recognition. The few pieces of broccoli that made it into my dish were soft, mushy and tasting of freezer burn. The sauce tasted like a mixture of ranch dressing and cheap«white» cheese. The dish was served lukewarm. Also tried the pizza. I think I would prefer a Tombstone frozen pizza. The cheese was rubbery and the crust was under cooked. The sauce was too sweet. The whole left me feeling sick to my stomach.

Been going there since they opened. Have family of celiac disease and gluten allergy sufferers. Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. All are amazing. My family looks forward to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all holiday gatherings just to see what I bring from New Day. But what is best about them, I’ll call during a busy weekday lunch and the always friendly and professional people there will have pickup order ready. Fresh and delicious! This is special, family owned small business. We need more of them.

I stopped here to get some gf desserts for my birthday this year. I was surprised to see they have a café menu that includes breakfast and lunch/dinner options, including pizza’s. Pretty much anything you could want in gf form. Also of note is that many of their items are egg and dairy free. The muffins are all dairy-free actually. My husband got a warm cinnamon roll and it was deee-licious. If you served these to a crowd I don’t believe most would suspect they were gf, all of what I’ve tried has tasted the same as wheat flour items.

Love this place!!! The«hamburger buns» are a cross between a biscuit and a bun… The combo is awesome! Great for breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches… Everything!!! I haven’t had anything that wasn’t awesome!!! My hubby who does not eat GF loves the food also!!! I go every 2 – 3 months and stock up for my freezer!!! So worth it!!! They now have biscuits and gravy… So in love…

Not having been in a Gluten Free store I didn’t know what to expect. The place was very clean, there was a sign on the door NOT allowing outside food. Makes sense. There was a good selection of premaid goods as well as ingredients to make your own stuff. We bought cupcakes and gooey butter cookies. They were both delicious. The cookies were a tad more flaky than ‘normal’ ones but they disappeared none the less. Our niece has gluten intolerance and we have never been disappointed with what we get from this place.

Best tomato soup I’ve had! I had a sandwich with potato salad, both were crazy good! So nice to be able to go out to eat and not worry about accidentally getting gluten! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

Wow! Just amazing Gluten Free food. They’re very aware and dedicated to gluten free foods. Its nice to be able to get a sandwich on the run or have a nice lunch there. My personal favorite is the chili mac and the cake/cupcakes. Even if your not strictly gluten free its worth going.

I have been meaning to get out to New Day since I moved to STL a year ago. I finally did and I really wish I’d gotten here sooner. I am, of course, pro any place that is completely gluten free. To be able to sit down and order anything off the menu is huge for a Celiac… ANYTHING. Not, can I get the salad but hold the croutons and the dressing. Not, can I have the sandwich without the bread. Or, can you please go back and grill the chef on how they marinated the meat. Anything. I settled in on their special sandwich of the day and it was really really good. Their gluten free bread is incredibly good and potato salad tasty. My daughter was behaving so I stayed longer and treated myself to a cinnamon roll and it was exceptional. Happy happy girl was I. The only reason I’m giving this place a 4 star instead of a 5 star was the cupcakes. So happy with my dining experience I took some cupcakes to go. They were a bit dry and just meh. So much so that I decided not to order a large fancy cake for a party coming up and found time in my very busy weekend to bake it myself. Oh well, a place can’t be perfect. I happily give this place a 4-star and will be back to try other things on the menu when I’m out that way.

DONTBEAFRAIDTOEATOUTWITH A GLUTENALLERGYAYMORE! I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last August and could not find a restuarant that I was fully comfortable eating at without the worries of the food being contaiminated by gluten. One day I was at Straubs grocery store in the CWE and they were selling GF muffins with the company called NEWDAY. I had to find this place. I come to find out thats it is only a few miles away from my apartment and everything they make there is gluten free. I venture out only to find that not only it it a bakery but also a café serving sandwhiches, soups, pastas, and breakfast. I ordered the Italian Melt and it was one of the best sandwhiches I had ever eaten! Even if I could eat gluten again one day. I would continue coming back to NEWDAY just for that sandwhich. They also have pre-packaged meals ready to go that you can keep in your refridgerator until you are ready to eat. Cookies, cakes, breadcrumbs, and pastas are also things you can buy there. They also make cakes for special occasions, even weddings. The owners are very knowledgeable becuase Kelly has Celiac Disease as well. They shared all of their information with me as well as having books and magazines that I skimmed through while eating. I eat at new day usually once a week, sometimes twice. It will be my go to place for when I need a quick bite that I know will be safe to eat, as well as being greeted by the wonderful and caring staff who knows me by name. LOVETHISPLACE!

Hey, St. Louis Area Gluten Intolerant/Allergy Sufferers LISTENUP ! So… among my travels this past weekend — I ended up at New Day Gluten Free Café out on Manchester. Now… you all know how we «city dwellers» are afraid to travel outside the 170 corridor, let alone the 270 corridor and enter«the county»…but I tell ya, this place was worth the drive. You’re probably going«how’d you end up there???» Having friends and coworkers who struggle with gluten allergies, I’ve seen their misery as they try to navigate meals without ending up sick… If you have those people in your life, this is the place you should take them. It’s dedicated gluten/peanut free so there’s no chance of cross-contamination. It’s a small café(like 8 tables), so if you’re gonna take a group, give them a heads up ! But I’m telling you… I had the lasagna… and it was«real» lasagna. Not that cardboard tasteless pasta crap. Had a bite of the meatball sub — delish. I bought a half-dozen gooey butter cookies… they didn’t make it to the end of the day… ate every single one — didn’t share. I would wager that if you didn’t know you were eating gluten free, you wouldn’t know.(And even if you don’t have gluten concerns… go give them a shot… besides great food, the owners, Garrett and Kelly, are a great couple and would love to chat with you when things aren’t crazy !) Trust me, you’ll be surprised !
