I’m a fan of this gym, my daughter spent 7 years in the competitive system(Blue Elite) and grew in so many ways. It is unfortunate the turn over and such with the team coaches but this can happen anywhere and was precipitated by unfortunate events, not fault of the gym. They provided my daughter with a solid base and she is being placed in a high quality system thanks to this. It’s to bad that gossip and rumor trumped the gyms communication and intentions. While disappointing and very difficult for the girls to see this happen they have not just been tossed out but have been shown concern. The gym called the parents of the team individually and Olympiad has gone as far as to honor pricing and connect the girls with other gyms. The non-competitive system is great with positive coaching as well!

We spent 6 years with OE and went through an incredible amount of turn over. They have a very difficult time keeping staff. My daughter was on the Blue Elite team and when we showed up for practice another parent informed us that the team staff quit and they were ending the team program. The gym manager knew the info was leaked and never bothered to tell the parents. 40 gymnasts have been left with no gym and no warning. Many of these girls have many years, countless hours in the gym and thousands of dollars spent and Olympiad simply tossed them out. The owner Ray is an ass and I caution anyone to take their children there. There are many reputable gyms in the area so please do your research!

Along with teaching gymnastics, Olympiad also hosts birthday parties, and after watching my daughter and 18 of her friends have the time of their life I thought I would write a review. I had no idea what to expect when I first walked in, my wife and daughter have been to parties hosted here but I was clueless. The first thing I noticed was how outgoing and friendly the the host was, there were a total of 2 employees but one was obviously the primary and her name was Jamie. Once they entered the gym Jamie gathered all the girls around in a circle and started some stretching exercises while explaining what they were going to do and all the rules about safety, sharing, etc. Jamie was very good at getting the girls listen to her while making them laugh and feel right at home. She also made sure everyone knew why they where there and really made my daughter feel special. The girls did a few minutes of warm up then proceeded to spend an equal amount of time at several different stations with various activities. The girls had an absolute blast going from the trampolines, to the uneven bars, to swinging from a bar like tarzan and dropping into a giant pit filled with foam. There was so much to do that not one girl even thought about being bored. While the girls really had fun, the one person who was responsible for the party being so successful was the host Jamie, she was so energetic, outgoing, funny and caring that she made the whole thing a complete success. If you are thinking of having a birthday party but are wondering what to do, try Olympiad and make sure to ask for Jamie.
