Bought an inexpensive child’s single bed with bookcase-style headboard. When I got it home I found out the headboard didn’t attach to the frame, it was just supposed to stand there on it’s narrow base. This wasn’t apparent when we looked at the version in their showroom. Since we’d disassembled the crib our child had formerly slept in, we went ahead and used the bed. But as children will often do, ours found they were able to rock the headboard back and forth so that it banged against the wall. Leaving a long, deep dent in the drywall. Not happy. So I called the Bedroom Store where we’d bought the bed and asked about the detached headboard. The man I talked to had nothing more helpful to say than«well there’s nothing I can really do about it». That made me angry. So I told him I’d returning the bed, to which he said«well we really can’t take back a bed that’s been used». In other words we’d have to fight to return the bed and get our money back. So instead of dealing with that, my husband made some wooden blocks to screw the headboard and frame together and that solved our immediate problem. So in light of their poorly designed product and ZERO after-sale service I will never shop there again.
