Eaten here several times over the last few years. It’s not terrible, but it’s not five stars, I’m sorry. So we had four people in our party, and the nice waitress brings us bread. There was literally four, very small pieces of bread. When I say small, I’m talking 3in by 2in. We were still finishing up with our appetizer, which was five fried spear pickles that were really good actually, and the waitress asked if we were ready for our food which we said sure. She brings out two plates, and about 10 minutes later she brings out the other two. She apologized. The food wasn’t special. I asked for my burger to be medium, and it was charred on the outside. My buddies brisket was very dry and had to ask for A1 sauce, and the steak sandwich my wife had wasn’t that good she said. Not sure how this place has five star reviews.

A wonderful family gathering at a wonderful restaurant. With family from out of town(Calif, Oklahoma, Colorado, Virginia) it was great to find a place that could handle us all. The prime rib was very good — and the service was fantastic. We used the side room and there was plenty of space for the bunch of us. And, it was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles. Big servings meant that we didn’t have room for desert, but still we had to share one of each so we all got a spoonful of the goodness. Thank you for making out family gathering extra special.

Ok folks! This steakhouse is a little diamond in the rough! We went for Valentines because I had a gift certificate!(BTW, that’s a great way to try new places!). And we will definitely be back again! Location is great, right on 156 highway so you don’t have to wander down into town! We live 45 miles southwest! They were absolutely maxed out tonight due to the holiday, so it was a good thing we had called and reserved a table! They were very attentive to our table and the little longer wait to get our food was definitely worth it! We ordered the Grand Margarita which was touted on the bar menu as a secret recipe, however I watched the bartender and did not see him add anything but lime, bottled mixer and tequila to the shaker of ice! If he’d give me a call I could tell him some great ways to really make it Grand! But it was very tasty, served naked(no ice) so we got a lot of margarita for our $ 5. The prime rib was tender, juicy and flavorful! Couldn’t ask for more! And congrats to the chef for not overpowering the plate with a monster baked potato which happens so often elsewhere! It was the perfect complimentary size for the cut of beef! The waitress told us the veggie of the day was green beans almondine but there were sugar snap peas on my plate! Delicious ones(actually like them better than beans so no problem for me!). In the rush of serving more guests than they are used to, they missed getting a basket of bread to us but we didn’t miss it til we were almost done, so no biggie!!! They just need a little fine tuning to compete with any big city steakhouse within a hundred miles! Over all even with the minor flubs, I give them a five star review just because everything tasted soooo good and they were so attentive and cordial! If you are a stickler for fast service, go somewhere else, but if you want to feel good about eating some really tasty fare and take the time to enjoy every bite, then stop in at the Ellsworth Steakhouse when you’re in the area! It’s worth it, for sure!

We where here on a Friday night which is prime rib night. Pretty darn good beef! Nice home feel here with friendly people. Glad we stopped in. Home made pies are of the chart good. The appetizer of nacho potato chips is a must try as well. We sat at the bar, had the chips and beer while watching the football game. Great time!
