I came here for a badly needed haircut and beard trim when I was visiting for a family reunion. I walked in to a well kept shop which had several people waiting. I was told it would be about 20 minutes because they were busy. There was no sign-in but everyone told me the order they had arrived in so I knew when to go. After about 20 minutes, it was my turn and I was welcomed to the chair. The barber asked what kind of haircut I wanted and I referred to a poster they had at the front with many different haircuts and she knew what I wanted right away. She asked me a few relevant questions and started cutting my hair. I really enjoyed that she was friendly and asked me questions about my hair and a couple others about me, but other than that, kept the conversation to a minimum. I really appreciated that. At some hair places, the hairdressers talk your ear off about their own personal lives and I’m just not into that. After she finished, she made sure I was satisfied and I asked her to trim a couple spots shorter which she gladly did. When she asked if I wanted product, she put some in my hair and gave me a small container free when I asked her where I could get it. I was really happy with the haircut and with the way she asked me questions along the way to make sure she was doing what I wanted. Cut and beard trim(and free product) came to only $ 12, which is way less than I pay at the chain shop back home. The only downsides were that the hair wasn’t swept up before I came to the chair which meant that I had to step over like three other guys’ hair, and that there was no sign-in so I had to ask who I was to go after. Not huge. Nothing super fancy, but a great, friendly, no frills cut with great customer service at a great price!
