i was travelling on motorcycle from brooklyn to maine and i stumbled upon this spot at night, when i just couldn’t ride further. well i’m glad i did. got my own little cottage. very pretty, very quiet, clean and nice, tho right next to the US1. and owner Roland is a very nice guy. has a motorcycle too so we connected bit more in that way :) he knows the area around, will draw you a map. the only thing is, there is wifi, but works only in the main house, not in the individual cottages, the signal doesn’t reach there. but if you travel, dont stare at your laptop. i had to, because i blog :)

We were a family of six on a trip to Acadia. Our cabin had three queen-sized beds and a bathroom; it was clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed. Roland was very friendly and a great resource for tips about visiting the park.
