I’ve been here a couple of times now and I’ve been impressed every time. Friendly and quick service even during a rush. Everything tastes great! I was informed they purchase their vegetables and such from local farmers which is awesome!

Stopped by with my son for lunch. Loved the industrial modern décor. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Was very glad to see that the place was busy. Ellwood definitely need more places like this!

Food was good but I agree with some of the other reviewers the cleanliness of the food prep was questionable — likely no different than most restaurants but they don’t have their kitchen out in the open.

I only have two things to say. First, if you can see the chef while he’s cooking all the food, you SHOULD NOT see that same chef eating off the food that he is cooking. I watched at he ate a piece of food from the scrambler he was cooking for me, and that’s not my idea of a good time. Second, the pancake was delicious.

Great, creative food for both breakfast and lunch! Even if the place is packed the food is usually out pretty fast. Very friendly service but sometimes not very tentative. I love the «gourmet» sodas and fresh ground coffee.

I’ve eaten here about six times in the few months they’ve been open. I haven’t ordered the same thing twice. The cooks know how to prepare food! Nothing has been overcooked or undercooked. Every meal has been perfectly seasoned and delicious. The only negative thing I can say is that the staff, other than the cooks, seem to be disorganized. It looks like everyone is trying to do every job, which causes some delays. I’m sure they’ll work it out in time. You won’t be disappointed in the food or the price.

Went here on a very busy day. A festival was going on and people were strolling the streets popping in and ordering food to go; and then coming back to pick up their orders. Service was a little slow for this reason, but the waitress constantly reassured us our food was on its way. I never felt like we were forgotten.
I MUST say the little piggy (biscuits & gravy) were well worth the wait! The place looked Great too! This used to be a old dirty diner! It now looks top notch and still has a 50’s/hometown diner feel to it! The cooks were kick ass as well! They hustled and didn’t miss a beat! Congrats on the new restaurant! I will be back!

Second time here. Much better lunch — tuna melt is fantastic. EC philly was ok, hence the 4 stars. Glad to have a nicer atmosphere lunch place in Ellwood with good foo at a reasonable price. Yay!
