Cobbler Corner West Shoe Service

This place is a total find! Nice couple that owns it. I brought a purse in to fix the handle and a grommet on my husbands boot needed replacing. Both things were finished earlier than the date they said they would be. The women at the front desk suggested a leather polish that has restored my purse to the day I bought it. They had to open my husbands leather boot to replace the grommet. An easy fix would be to go through the leather and inside fabric… they took the time to open, replace it and sew it back together. Have a feeling there aren’t many stores around like this. I will be taking any fix to them from now on!

I love this place. I would drive a 100 miles to have my shoes repaired here. Ron the owner is one of the most genuine and delightful person I ever met. He is hidden gem.

The owners of this shop are the most wonderful people in the world! I was across the street at my Ted’s Tailor (also, a wonderful man and very talented tailor) and I had asked him if he could repair the zipper on a clutch. Ted said he was worried he might ruin the stitching and told me to see if Cobbler Corner could fix it. I walked over thinking they most likely couldn’t. My 94 year old grandmother purchased this clutch during WWII and told me I could have it as my something «old» for my wedding, but the zipper would need to be fixed. I explained to the two owners why this was so important to me, and the gentleman came out, looked at the clutch, took a tool to it for a couple seconds and handed the clutch back to me. I said, «I guess no luck, huh?» He told me to try and zip it. I did, and I almost shed a tear of pure joy and gratitude. I cannot say enough wonderful words about this establishment. I will be lifelong patron after today.
