What can you say, Elma. I very, very ocassionally go here if I need a quick something, like party balloons or cheap batteries, but usually I steer clear and have for years. If you live in Elma you know ~~ a) Its not a dollar anymore, its what $ 1.15 now?(check the hand made sign for correct price now) b) She also uses it as her day care and lets her kids run around and scream and whatev, and has ever since she opened instead of making some of kind of back area away from the actual store where people shop she plopped em right up front by the register, but hey, what do you want for $ 1.15 items anyway?(wait a second Dollar Tree who actually is a $ 1 store doesnt do that) c) Now half the store is a thrift store(funny I think I noticed some of my garage sale items for sale in her store last time I popped in but with higher prices, if your going to do that you might want to go to Oly garage sales) half $ 1.15 store d) Would like to see how she figures out taxes, hint hint, she overcharged me last time I went in on an item she had on «special» and when I was refunded the difference there was no adjustment for tax given back(just saying) and I am not going to bicker over a few cents, I am just not going to patronize your business.

The name says it all: it’s a dollar store primarily, with a small room at the side that constitutes the«thrift store.» The main store carries dollar-store party supplies, pet items, and general merchandise. Oh! They do have a soda cooler with pretty cheap sodas, if you’re road-tripping and need to refuel with caffeine. In the side room, the thrift store is really more like a garage sale, with some old board games, VHS tapes, mismatched plastic dinnerware and cups, small appliances, that kind of thing. For the few minutes we were there, one employee(the owner?) was yelling at the other one about not letting any customers purchase her personal fan. They didn’t greet us or offer any help, nor did they seem surprised that we didn’t stick around or buy anything. Skip this one. Nothing to see here.
