Just had a wonderful brunch. I had the regular breakfast and my over easy eggs were done perfectly. My friend enjoyed her veggie omelette. The décor and atmosphere are fun. They have retained much of the furnishings from when it was a country store. Leave room for dessert. The cupcakes and baked goods looked delicious but I was too full from my breakfast to try any.

Love this place! Always on my list when I come into town from California. If you are hungry, this is place to stop! In addition to the beautiful deli, they have delicious sit down food, great service, and lots of local favorites to take home; like lemon infused olive oil, fig jam, & clover honey. Yum!

I just had a very awkward Easter brunch at this place, and wish I didn’t. There were snotty men who I’m assuming are father and son and run the place, who didn’t care to give me and my family a return, «Happy Easter»…so I sit where the music was so loud… and no one came to clear our dishes until a young fellow with a pony tail came and asked to clear our plates. He was very nice and personable. He seemed a little upset, and later when I left the restaurant I found out why. The food wasn’t pleasant. A lot of short cuts. I saw the two owners I mentioned corner the young boy with a pony tail, bully him and humiliate him. I had just seen him come back from helping a woman carry flowers to her car, and then the two owners just go ahead and bash him. How unprofessional can you be? It’s the boys first day I found out, as he walked sadly to his car while telling his friend how he desperately needed money, and that this establishment wasn’t going to pay him for his first day. I felt so badly for him, and then I saw the manager come out and ask him for a donut back. Are you serious? The owner just humiliated this poor boy trying to make ends meet, and he needed an extra power trip to get his already bitten into donut back? The guy looked like he eats enough pastries on the regular… I left feeling sick to my stomach, and I still am. It sadly made my holiday very unpleasant, and the same goes for my family. We won’t be returning again. Flaming pretentious idiots like those two shouldn’t serve the people.

Drive past this place weekly on my way to work. I have been eyeing up now for a few months. Finally decided to stop in today and try it. The place was empty except for one customer. It looks quaint and rustic wasn’t sure if it was a deli or restaurant or both, wasn’t even sure if it was open the outside is deceiving, there are no signs on the outside. I waited a few minutes to place my order, I thought it was too long for having one person in the place. Finally was able to get my order in I ordered the curry chicken salad, it sounded good. The counter person kept telling me my order will be ready in a minute. Well a minute is sixty seconds not five or ten minutes. I asked the lady what time it was and it was 1130, I stopped in at 1115 and at 1130 still had not had my sandwich. Finally at 1140 I got my food and ran off to work. The sandwich was good. However, for the 8.00 and change I paid it could have had more chicken salad on it and not stuffed with lettuce. I may try this place again, hope they get their act together in the meantime. The food is good taste wise. Not worth the money they charge for a farmland area sandwich shop, and the service needs to get faster. The wait was unacceptable.

So happy we stumbled upon this little country store/restaurant for lunch. Inside this charming old structure we found a welcoming staff proud of the food offered on the menu. My wife had a large and hearty salad with lots of fresh veggies and a delicious dressing. I had a delicious special steak sandwich — diced filet mignon, sweet caramelized onions, and the right amount of yellow cheddar on a sesame hoagie baguette. The store also carries a wide assortment of pies, cakes, and cookies. The service was warm, inviting, and charming.

Great place for lunch! Delicious turkey wraps that want me coming back for my next meal. It’s nice that hey have outside seating too. On a beautiful day and you’re in the area, I suggest lunch at Dodge’s!

Dined with 5 people. Very disappointed 1hr to get the food. When we did get the food most of it was wrong. Had to ask for utensils. When waitress brought food one of our diners had order egg salad he was told there was no egg salad(how do you not have egg salad) at that time and he had nothing to eat. One of our diners asked for no lettuce or anything at all on his sandwich it had lettuce on it was told a new one was going to be made –guess what they brought the same sandwich out with SOME of the lettuce taken off and it was now cold. Many more mistakes were made just to daunting to describe. Food that we did get, that was correct that we ate was just mediocre. They did take some off the bill and apologized but still disappointed Just last week two of the people in our party dined here and it was excellent what happened in just a week?

Not. Good. I went to Dodge’s for a bridal shower. Before the shower, I looked at the website and immediately knew I was in for a sub-par meal. It was typical, cheap catered food. They started us off with a cheese and out-of-season fruit display. Why they needed pineapple and red California grapes on this display at the end of June, I am not sure. After all, Dodge’s is located in the *Jersey Fresh* mecca, surely they could have found some local fresh produce for their appetizer display. The disappointment continued with a spring mix salad, topped a few vegetable slices and small glob of goat cheese. This was followed by a trio of sliders(roast beast, turkey cold cut, and some sort of sloppy mayo infused chicken/tuna/crab/mystery salad). The sliders were comprised of a small single slice of meat, a tiny piece of cheese and a piece of lettuce/tomato slice on a potato bun, held together with a shiny tooth pick, stuck with an ugly dry olive on top. It only got worse from there; when they brought out«funnel cake» desserts and cupcakes with bright blue icing(toxic food dye anyone?!) The cucumber water on the appetizer display and the goat cheese on the salad were the only noteworthy parts of my entire experience at Dodge’s.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 6 years now and have no idea why I just started eating here??! This place is fabulous! We eat here anywhere from 1 – 3 times a week. Mostly for lunch. The staff is friendly, the owner is awesome and this is now our go to spot when we are out running errands and need a good lunch. There are so many great, unique tasty treats and finds in this place. Our favorite is the special holiday brunches! Just be sure to make a reservation on holiday meals because space can be limited. We are so lucky to have this gem of an establishment in our neck of the woods.

Great little spot! Had the smoke house wrap which was great… and the French fries are awesome. My son has the BLT which he really liked as well. Great stop on the way to the shore.

My work had a brunch for Christmas in 2013, let me tell you the spread was incredible! Enjoyed the food and the elegant setting upstairs. They did a great job! Was in there recently, I had a gift card and didn’t know what to buy. I spotted the deserts and the owner helped me, explaining what each one was and the prices. I bought some chocolate cakes and they were wonderful. Thanks for being so attentive it made the difference.

What a cute little spot! They have many delicious things. Fresh bread, many cakes and cookies, cheese, ham, nice tea, and good coffee… It was too hectic on Sat afternoon. I wanted to get Today’s special Turkey sandwich but did not want to wait. So I purchased a cute banana chocolate moose cake. It was fresh and tasty. Food: Many fresh tasty foods and drinks! Price: $ 5 – 15 cakes around $ 5 sandwiches around $ 10 Staff: They look too hectic. I wish they could smile a little bit. Atmosphere: Warm peaceful relaxing with happy families and cute decorations in a cute old building. Parking lot: Behind the restaurant or street.

What a great find! I was on my way back to DC from wildwood, nj and my carpool decided to follow a few other friends to have lunch here. The restaurant was clean and very welcoming. The staff was great, they made sure to get our food out asap as the first group of friends we were with had already received their food by the time we joined them. I had the apple walnut chicken salad on greens. It was delicious, flavorful and with the perfect amount of dressing. My boyfriend had the Sunday special pulled pork… Amazing. Needless to say I helped him finish his lunch. I’ll be coming up with excuses to visit again in the future!

I come here often for lunch. Their apple walnut chicken salad is to die for and they have great sweet tea! However I won’t be coming back in for breakfast anytime soon. I saw they had a breakfast bagel on the menu called the«New Dodges Bagel» which was a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, apple butter, and crunchy peanut butter topped with cinnamon and apple shavings. I ordered that and a cappuccino. Well the cappuccino machine was broken and 10 mins after we placed our order the waitress came back and said they were out of cream cheese. So we got the bagel without the cream cheese and instead of a cinnamon raisin bagel it was a sesame seed bagel. I was very disappointed. They clearly are not equipped to sell breakfast here. Lunch is always great though.

I am from Indiana and happened to stop by this little family owned restaurant. The food was awesome and I loved the mason jars as drink ware. Our server BREANA was by far the best and most professional server that has served me and my family in a long time. The Lentil Soup and Broccoli Soup were out of this world. The best Italian sub ever hands down. ****You will not be disappointed. Request BREANA, she is a sweet server. Quick access to the major highways!!!

Nice place. Good food. Friendly staff. Definitely will be back again. Had Scott’s salad. The dressing was really tasty and the chicken was excellent. Also got a Chicken Panini to go and will certainly be back for that in the future.

Good food. Probably won’t order the half-priced sub again because it seems to be half the meat(definitely less than usual), but it was still good. Overall, good food.
