This little shop specializes in Gulab Jamun. I’ve never seen some many variations of fried dough soaking in honey syrup. I think there are more options here than at many shops on Brick Lane in London. I picked up a sampler with five different types of fried dough. I tried tastings the subtle differences between the textures and flavors of each variation. I’d recommend picking up the sampler. The other sweet which seemed intriguing was the gulab jamun filled with cream.

when i need a sugar high i get some gulab jamun here. fried dough immersed in a sweet syrup flavored with cardamom. it seems expensive 6 pieces for $ 5. then again i’m not sure what the market price is for these desserts. however, when i’m craving with my sweet tooth i’ll buy it!
