Delicious Thai food restaurant owned by a very kind family. Great place for lunch and dinner, they never fail to impress me. If you’re around you should definitely stop by!

This place was only ok. I heard that they had great Thai iced tea, which was the only reason I gave it a shot. The Thai iced tea tasted pretty good but it was just like Joju’s, which is across the street. I found it weird that they served their drinks in plastic cups. This place was small and didn’t have a customer restroom, you had to walk through the kitchen to use their employee restroom. The food was decent. I had the duck noodle soup and my bf got fried pork over rice. The noodle soup wasn’t very flavorful but the duck itself was pretty good. The fried pork was way too hard and unexpectedly spicy.

Literally my favorite spot for authentic Thai food. The people there are very sweet and the food is TERRIFIC. Definitely worth every penny. A little pricey but worth it for sure.

A friend and I came here thinking that the dishes were really well priced. However, when our food was brought out, we were disappointed in our portion sizes. I would suggest ordering an entrée and an appetizer per person. That being said, the food here is amazing! The BBQ Pork is ridiculously flavorful and it comes with a dipping sauce that is spicy and gives an extra kick to your food. The pad see ew is just the right amount of salty and sweet. My only issue with it is that some of the noodle pieces were huge and hard to eat in one bite, but it isn’t a big deal. The service was quick and friendly!

I can only base my review on what happened. I tried to call the number listed here on Unilocal. The phone call went directly to voice mail however their system is not set up and cannot receive phone calls according to the message received. After calling 3 times I finally got someone on the phone and placed my order to find out that they do not accept credit card orders for delivery. Well that does it for me. I cannot order here because they do not take credit cards.

Don’t be fool by this small establishment that probably can only sit no more than 15 ppl max. The food is really good here! The Pad kaprow with chicken was my entrée. The spice was just right. Add a fried egg for additional $ 1. It was overcooked but i didnt mind it. Other dishes to get: Red Curry, Green Curry, and Fried thai chicken. The basil crispy pork was a bit too over fried for me that it was sticking to my teeth. The hay jor(fried crab and pork patty) tasted quite weird for me but my friends seem to like it. The shrimp dumplings were not bad but nothing special. Nice touch with the fried garlic. You can tell the food taste very authentic and home cooked. Prices are cheap too!

I just had lunch here and was very satisfied. I ordered my favorite Thai dish, which is Pad Kee Mao with Chicken. It was spicy and very delicious! Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are fairly big. One of the best things about Boon Chu was a girl who works there named Ping. She was so informative and friendly, and definitely made me want to go back to try dishes I’ve never tried before. This place is small and far from fancy. It’s all about the food here!

I love this Thai place. Seafood pancake and frog legs with basil are my favorite. I take a lot of my friends there to eat as well. The place is very small but service is very fast and friendly and always get my food just the way I like them. I am a seafood fan and the prices are reasonable and affordable.

Order the pad thai, you will not regret it. I found it to be an explosion of flavor. Con: 1) The only thing I didn’t appreciate was the $ 12 cash only delivery policy. 2) Misrepresentation of prices online.

In the de facto Thai neighborhood of New York, Boon Chu is a very solid Thai restaurant. It’s a very small space that seats a total of 10 or fewer patrons at a time. I have only had lunch here, so my experience with the menu isn’t very extensive, but what I did try here was very good. The minced beef over rice is very simple, yet, very well flavored, savory and slightly sweet. The additional fried egg is done awesomely, nice a crispy on the outside, and still runny on the inside; a must have for any rice dish. The Thai sausage fried rice was done well also. It’s the same as Chinese sausage, which always goes well with fried rice.

I grew up in south east Asia so i know authentic Thai food pretty well and this reminded me of the food they have back that. they go a little easy on the harshness of the flavor(ex. spice level) which is understandable but overall the food is amazing. I ordered Som tum(papaya salad) and i can tell they didn’t skip out on any ingredients to ensure the precise flavor!(5.95 $) For appetizers I got Hor joy and Tod Mun and both were outstanding. exactly what I expected it to taste like.(5.95 $ and 6.95 $) I tried the fried shrimp paste rice(kapi) and it was good except I personally could add more kapi into the fried rice.(7 $) the place is a must try if you want to try authentic Thai food!

This is a small restaurant with limited seatings. Their Thai ice tea and thai ice coffee is a good size and tastes great. We had the pad see ew and beef red curry. The noodle tasted the best, with beef and some Chinese Broccoli. The curry was too spicy for me and be beef tasted overlooked. Overall I wouldn’t mind dropping by and trying other dishes.

I give this place 4 stars! their service is very good. there was just one person at the front of house given its such a small restaurant and he had a great attitude, was super friendly and willing to please. it made dining a joy. the Thai iced teas are made just right. not too sweet. we got the stuffed crispy Tofu skin appetizer and we both really liked it. I love seafood so I was pleased to taste the crab so clearly. it was fried perfectly. crispy and not hard. I got the basil crispy pork over rice as my entrée. this is the dish I get at every single thai place and I compare them based on this dish. in terms of flavor this might be my favorite. it was so strong and delicious. however the pork was fried too much for me where it was too hard and dry. I’m not sure if this is a preference thing but I don’t like it but so many thai places do that. there is only one place I know of where the pork texture is made to my liking. also the fried egg I got on top was cooked too well done for my liking. I prefer it to have a runny yolk(maybe over easy) so that I can use the yolk as an extra«sauce» for my rice. however I didn’t request for it to be over easy so not really going to deduct for that. we also got the nom tok beef noodle soup. it had a sour undertone in the soup which I wasn’t expecting and wasn’t crazy about but that’s a personal preference and again not going to deduct for that. they gave a lot of meat for the toppings! prices are great and my bf and i already have a few things in mind we want to come back and try next time!

I got take out they got my order with no problem. the front desk was very attentive when I arrived. service was really good! the seafood basil stir fry over rice was yummy. they had the cup with the lid which was fish sauce I believe as it was mighty salty and some chopped up either hot peppers or green onion. but I sprinkled the sauce over the rice and I wish I hadn’t, it became too salty. the stir fry was flavorful enough on its own.

went here for dinner and this place is all right. There isn’t anything really special about this place but there’s also nothing bad. The food was good typical of a thai restaurant. I was looking for something less salty and saucy so I got the thai fried rice which was a-okay. The portion sizes are average, you’ll definitely be full from one dish. The price is GREAT! I think the four of us each got a dish and the bill came out to 30 $ including tax and tip! This place is small though! can only fit around 16 people.

I love the food here, Tom Yum soup with Shrimp has a nice kick and is reasonably priced, they don’t give you much«content» like shrimp and mushroom, but the yummy broth makes up for it. I tried their Pad Thai too but was not impressed, the flavors were there but not nearly strong enough. It simply fell short. Thai iced tea is standard. Get their $ 1 coconut icecream! Goooood stuff

Small cozy restaurant. Flavors are very authentic, comparable to when I visited Thailand. Maximum capacity is 20 people. Most of the cooks are female. It is like going to your Thai friend’s house to have dinner made by his mother. Pad Kee Mao was banging with spices, just the right amount. Pad Thai was average. Beef noodle soup was interesting, noodles are same as the ones used in Pad Thai. The extra $ 1 fried egg made it better. Salty fish fried rice was awesome. There were actual little chunks of salty fish in it. Thai ice tea was perfect amount of tea flavor and sweetness. The wait or who served us seems to be the son, and was very respectful and attentive. We had 5 dishes and 2 drinks $ 50(tip included)
