I had a fabulous experience with Budget Blinds in Woodridge. I wanted to cover 2 double windows and 2 single windows with roman shades, 4 shades in all. Once the appointment was set up, Holly and Tom arrived with a boat-load of fabric samples. They also shared several different styles of the shades i was looking for. I made my selection, but warned them that I move slowly when I make decisions and the holidays were approaching. At that time, I realized the price was higher than I wanted to pay. And so I shopped around, consulting a few other companies. One in particular was even more expensive and did not offer the cordless shade that Budget Blinds showed me. What to do? I called Budget Blinds back, 4 months later. They were thrilled. I honestly explained that I would not spend the quoted amount we discussed. As it turned out, at our first appointment, I chose a fabric from their most expensive price grouping.(what else is new… I do the same thing with shoes…) My bad. We checked out other less expensive fabrics this time and I found exactly what I wanted. BAM! Nailed it at a price I felt was much more reasonable. We placed the order and within the time frame they predicted, my blinds arrived and were expertly installed by Tom. I couldn’t be happier. My room now has the privacy and look I intended. Both Holly and Tom made suggestions for placement of the blinds(close to the ceiling for a longer looking window) that I truly appreciated. These folks were wonderful and I’d recommend them to friends in a heartbeat! Thank you, thank you!

1st visit was good — full of great creativity and ideas. No awareness of budget matters so it is the customer’s responsibility to draw the line. The installers were a comedy act at best — bringing in the house the wrong order, telling us they didn’t have the order, stating the size was wrong, calling the manager for installation guidance. Definitely drama attached to the installation but the order was found and almost properly installed. Most disappointing part is there was no follow up from the sales, management or anyone being sure we were happy with the product.
