I had called several places to see if they could fix my Kyocera smartphone. They all said no, simply because they fixed iPhones or Galaxy S phones most of the time and didn’t bother supporting other brands or models. These guys were able to repair my Kyocera and was done quickly for a good price. I highly recommend them.

My husband dropped his S3 down 2 flights of stairs and the screen blacked out, although it rings when calls come through. I searched Unilocal for cell phone repair shops that were open on a Saturday night and Cool Wireless popped up. I called and explained the problem then asked for a quote. The young man who took the call said he could not give me a quote. I had read Unilocal reviews that mentioned phone quotes being given so of course I said «excuse me» and asked again for a quote. He said they can’t give quotes over the phone. Oh well. I was not about to go to Queens without a quote. We ended up going to a location in Manhattan that has prices posted on the website and also gives phone quotes.

I found this store on Unilocal and decided to call about unlocking my iPhone 4s to work with t-​mobile. I spoke with Shah, the store owner and technician. He advised me that he would be able to assist me. I am happy with the service I received. He was able to back up all my photos and unlock my phone. He is also an authorized t-​mobile dealer so he assisted me in changing SIM cards. While I was waiting, many customers came in to pay their cell phone bills. It only took a few minutes for each person — he is quick and efficient. He is also straight forward and honest. I would definitely recommend him to those who have any cell phone needs.

Fair, honest, reliable, transparent. These are all words I would use to describe my experience at «Cool Wireless» when I got my iPhone 4S screen replaced this past week. My experience was as follows:
I called for a quote. When I went in store, the quote was the same as my conversation over the phone. I did some research and Cool Wireless’ quote was by far the cheapest out there. It took 24 hours to repair my phone and Hamza the repairman kept his promise and had my phone up and ready the next day. I was assured that all replacement products are Apple issued and my phone is working great. Not to mention, Hamza was friendly, personable, knowledgable, and an expert at his trade.
I would recommend these guys 100% to any friends who is in need of a phone repair. You will not regret the decision!

The owner of the store contacted me after my bad review to apologize for my terrible experience there.
Apparently I was there the one day of the week that the owner has off, and the associate working on Saturdays isn’t particularly experienced. Just my luck…
I’m changing my rating because I received a defective product, was apologized to, and offered a new product by the owner. That’s how a professional runs their business and that’s a business owner I can respect and support.
I go in there on a Wednesday night to get my screen protector replaced and as luck would have it, all of the matte iPhone 5C screen protectors are defective. Womp womp. The owner felt bad that I had to wait about 45 minutes (he had a lot of other customers when I walked in there) to hear that I’d have to come back yet again to get my screen protector replaced.
Instead of letting me leave empty handed, he put on a different (tempered glass, ergo way more expensive) screen protector, wasn’t matte, but was explosion-​proof… He installed it quickly and came out beautiful. I left really happy, my long journey to Queens was not in vain.
Great customer service, really nice guy and very honest and friendly even though I left the meanest review earlier, with a lot of vulgarity. I’ll be back if I have any iPhone issues or any issues with my Macbook, as all of my Applecare has long expired.
PS– I’m sure the guy that works on Saturday is a nice dude and all but he’s inexperienced and not knowledgable. So if you need any type of assistance other than making a simple purchase, save your time and avoid on Saturdays.

Excellent customer service! I had my phone repaired here and these guys were incredibly nice, honest and fast. They didn’t try to rip me off like the other places I tried getting my phone fixed from, and they even gave me a temporary phone to use while mine was being repaired. I highly recommend them.
