Came to him via a friend’s recommendation and decided to find a new dentist. Though nothing showed on x-rays, he used some ‘new tool’ where there was supposedly some potential softness so he wanted to do exploratory drilling to see if there were holes inside my teeth. I’ve had great teeth for 40+ years, so I doubt if all-of-a-sudden they have mysterious holes inside of them. If it doesn’t show on the x-ray… then what’s the point of the x-rays? It just seemed like he was finding a reason to drill and charge me. Plus, they kept splitting the appointments up, so it used my 2 appointment allotment with my insurance up immediately so I had to pay for the extra appointment. To top it off, when going to a new dentist after him, they charged me $ 25 to share my x-rays with the new dentist. Thanks Fornatto for proving my point! I think the staff and hygenists were great, but I think Fornatto himself is out to get money from you and your insurance anyway he can if you’re a new patient. Be forewarned. And always remember — it’s your teeth. You can say no.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Fornatto for 10 years and am completely happy with his skills and gentle manner. I used to hate going to the dentist but Dr. Fornatto makes it painless and pays close attention to issues that could turn into major problems. He filled a cavity for me and not only was it painless during the procedure but the day after as well. He called me himself the next day to see how I was doing and I had forgotten that I just had a cavity filled. I would strongly recommend a visit — just meet him and you’ll see what I mean.
