Great park in the middle of Elmhurst. They have hiking/biking trails, 2 children’s playgrounds, nice pond full of ducks and geese. Benches to sit on scattered around the park. Nice and peaceful to just walk around and enjoy the pretty scenery. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there is a lack of adequate bathrooms. I walked the whole park both side and only saw 1 porta potty on the commonwealth side where the p, at ground is. They could use a few more. Also they could put out a few more picnic table near the pond, and both playgrounds.

Eldridge Park has a really nice, paved path that circles the park. Perfect for running or biking. You can also hook up to the Salt Creek path from Eldridge Park. Parking is free and is off Spring Road(kind of tricky parking here as the lot is directly off the street and when leaving, you back into traffic). When running, we noticed you can also park in the lot off Commonwealth which we might do next time. There are tennis courts as well as 2 parks for the kids. There are open fields for soccer and a huge hill(paved path runs up hill so you can run up this as well). I bet the hill is nice for sledding in the winter. I am not certain, but I believe there are also bathrooms near the Commonwealth parking area. Oh… and plenty of benches along the trail.
