I have been working with Brian to make Christmas presents using recent graduation and wedding photos, and he could not have more helpful when the images I used to order on line weren’t quite right to get a good image. I picked up my order yesterday and am thrilled — going to order more. As for the customer complainingg about not getting her tape converted, there was no need to check whether it was possible — against the law. Remember that old FBI warning on tapes about copying? If she found someone to do it, that person broke the law. I have been using Elmhurst Camera since 1976 with no issues.

I went to Elmhurst Photo Boutique to have a commercial VHS movie converted to DVD because it is old and the movie is not available as a DVD. The gentleman behind the desk dismissed my request. He told me it probably couldn’t be done because of copyright encryptions. Then without checking, he said, actually I know it can’t be done.
I contacted another location who was able to copy the movie onto DVD no problems. I did not appreciate the brush off. He could have at least checked to see if there was an encryption. I guess $ 30 was not enough business for him. I want him to know that both my husband and myself have many personal VHS tapes, slides, 8 mm tapes that I am planning on converting to digital and I had originally thought I would bring it to Elmhurst Photo Boutique but I will now be taking all of that business elsewhere.

The service at EPB was fantastic, super quick and it was wonderful to discuss the problems I was having with my wedding photos… I had them transfer my wedding video over to DVD and I had them also put my rolls of film to a cd. Heather was very professional and very willing to work with me, I had them all back within a week. I love to support local businesses, but this business makes it very easy to do so… Definitely will be back for future printing in the future! :)

DO NOT USE ELMHURST PHOTO BOUTIQUE. WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. Picked up my 10 VHS tapes that were to be transferred to DVD and one of the DVD could not be read on my DVD player. Took the tape to them again to be transferred, picked up the order and there was no DVD in the DVD case. In addition to these problems, they didn’t call when the order was complete, did not tell me the Thursday before Labor Day that they would be closed the weekend, so made a wasted trip up there. Customer Service is HORRIBLE! Don’t waste your time and money with this business.
