I love this location. Not only is it convenient, but every. single. time. I need to stop in for gifts, the girls behind the counter are über friendly, helpful, accommodating and cheerful. Major props to the employees here! You guys’ rock! Aside from the EXCELLENT customer service… you simply can’t go wrong gifting Fannie May chocolates… its oh so familiar in the Midwest and anyone not from the area will beg you for it. The quality and consistency has remained the same year after year… It’s a name many have grown to count on and most have memories indulging in delectable pixies, mint meltaways, trinidads, marsh bars… the list goes on… I happen to think its a perfect gift for that out of town friend with a sweet tooth… the countless«Thank You’s» are a testament to how cherished these chocolately gems are… No, you don’t always need European chocolates for a fix… but if your looking for dark and sugar free, you can find it here too… and who doesn’t love Fannie May? My mother has always been a fan of their Fruit & Nut assortment, a gift she welcomes for any holiday and one I don’t miss on Valentine’s day for her… she loves the marsh bars too. I have Italian relatives in from out of the country, and thought this would be a different treat for them… They have fantastic deals(not always listed on web) and little did I know walking in, I would be getting 3 gifts instead of one! I really came here as a favor to my mom. She needed a box in a hurry, and asked if I could stop here for her. The fact that I was able to score 2 gifts for $ 15 was a bargain I could have easily spent double on… And I always like having these treats on hand around the Holidays. there is usually someone I forget to buy for. A big box of assorted chocolate covered pretzels (reg $ 29) was $ 10… My custom 1.5 lb box of fruit and nut weighed in at $ 40…so for $ 5 I could grab an 8 oz. box of dark chocolate squares(reg. $ 10).I went with the Orange dark chocolate(70%)…but the Espresso flavor sounded great too… they also had 60% cocoa… To top it off, upon ringing me up, they handed me a silver candy tray FORFREE… because I spent over $ 40…I love getting deals upon deals and Free stuff! Who doesn’t??? And it all came as a nice surprise… I was a VERY happy and satisfied customer :) Everything was nicely wrapped and tied(cute holiday design this year) and both girls assisting me did a fabulous job…(yes, I’ll say it again). The store is IMMACULATE and organized… If I were you, I’d head on over for these great deals… not sure how long they’ll last, but if you have some chocolate holiday gifting to do… you can kill 3 tasty gifts with a STEAL of a stone! I kept the pretty tray for myself so I could display my own candy… and you deserve a gift too! Ps.Received a 20% off card good thru 1⁄09.

I stand by one of my go to items and indulgences: sugar free peanut butter cups. And for some reason, though other spots with the unsubtle aroma of sweetness can be overpowering, not here. No way. The sales clerk here was very pleasant; I waited while she took care of a woman with her little girl. Nice move giving the kid a sample — at that age, red hearts go a very long way. One of the positives about the Fannie May philosophy of chocolate oblivion is to keep doing what works; and never mess with it. Customers are creatures of habit and I’m no different — we all have our favorites, our iconic confections, our«if you give me the chocolate no one will get hurt» attitude. Sure, I could spend more. I could go all imported. I could even add liqueur. Not necessary. I left with a couple of gift cards for the upcoming V Day; and my sugar free«staples», smiling and still surrounded by the wafting aura that can only be found in a Fannie May shop.

Yummy yummy yummy!!! Some of the most amazing chocolate I have ever tasted. My husband came home, said«I brought you chocolates because I love you … but I ate half of them.» I open the box to see most of the mint melt away’s missing. It was the thought that counts! A little on the expensive side, but a great idea for gifts and/or holidays. Can’t wait to try some of their other selections, I have been already hinting that I would like some chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary … or just because I am an awesome wife.
