This little place couldn’t get any cuter if it tried, ‘cuz it’s so adorable, the cuteness is spilling out from the candy it sells. First, the candy. I love that there’s my favorites from grade school and my parents favorites from yesteryear! Candy necklaces, giant Picksie sticks, Charleston chews — so much yum. I was already addicted to bullseye caramel Goetze’s, At Goalie’s Goodies, they have licorice ones which are AWESOME. For anyone who searches the globe for authentic black licorice, all you need to do now is head over to York Street in Elmhurst, where the most delicious poison awaits!
The popcorn is made fresh on location, the aroma is yummy and they’re ready to give bountiful samples to customers! So good, I brought home the caramel, cheese and green apple. Prices seem very fair. I can’t believe this place has been here 2 years and we hadn’t seen it until now. Will definitely be back!!!

Wanted to get some Chicago style popcorn while I visited Chicago. And being that I did not have the best experience with Garrett’s, I jumped on Unilocal to see what my other options were. Goalie’s was not far from my hotel so I decided to give them a shot. It appears to be a small family owned establishment with a lot of cool treats. Upon checking in I got a 15% off Unilocal coupon. But due to technical difficulties I was not able to redeem it. But the manager said that it was okay and honored the coupon anyway. She said it is always exciting to hear that people find them on Unilocal.I thought that was very sweet of her. I sampled the Green Apple popcorn which was a bit sweet but it was good. I ended up getting the Chicago Mix (Caramel & Cheddar) and it was just as good, if not better than Garrett’s and for a much cheaper price. I brought some back for my family and friends and they loved it and want to see if the ship their popcorn. Popcorn 1−5=4.

Who doesn’t love a vintage candy store. This little shop is new to Elmhurst but a great addition! Cotton candy, ice cream, a cooler stocked with delicious drinks and some hard to find vintage candy! Let’s not forget the popcorn (smelled so so good)! Friendly staff, I was absolutely impressed. Why no 5 star review? For the jolly ranchers and boxes of candy you can get a price much cheaper elsewhere. $ 6.99 for a pound of candy… (ouch) but there’s a walgreens down the street for that kind of stuff. Also, parking may be a little tough. Best to get out and explore Elmhurst!

I love this shop. Popcorn is always fresh and delicious. Ask for a sample of the spicy cheese one. Great selection of other candies and treats for kids and nostalgic adults.

Loving EVERYTHING about Goalie’s Goodies. I love local businesses that give back and invest in their community! And not only that, but the popcorn is AMAZING! I love all the different flavors and the fact that I can try before I buy. White Cheddar is my favorite… the bag doesn’t last very long at our house :) The shop is clean and well organized making it easy for my kids to check out the candy selection and pick out their own treats. I wish I lived closer, but the online shopping and ship to home option makes getting our goodies that much easier!

I ordered online to try this gourmet Chicago popcorn and it is absolutely delicious! They have a «care package» and I received a nice variety of medium white cheddar, ranch, cheddar, caramel, Chicago mix, and spicy cheddar. I had an excellent experience with my order. (see my photo) I am highly impressed with the professionalism of the owner and the quality of the product. I highly recommend that everyone who likes gourmet popcorn to check this place out or order some online.
I am from the Chicago area originally and live in Vegas now, and I was feeling nostalgic for Chicago. I wanted a little «taste» of home and I love supporting Chicago small business owners. The owner is super friendly, plus very fast shipping and the packaging was perfect. They are supposed to add more products to their online store soon and I plan on ordering online for Christmas gifts.
My box arrived in just a couple of days. I could smell the deliciousness of the caramel and cheddar aromas before I excitedly ripped open the box. The product is very fresh like they just popped it today. The packaging is very cute, I love the hockey logo.
The white cheddar so far is my favorite, it’s like crack-popcorn…I can’t stop eating it!!! I’m looking forward to visiting the storefront when I am back in Chicago. Thank you, Debbie — you’re the best! :D

Gourmet popcorn in a variety of flavors. Great selection of candy, including salt-​water taffy and older stuff that you can’t find most places. Friendly service and reasonable prices. This will soon become your regular place to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Stopped in here to see if maybe I could find some good caramel corn, not the greasy stuff like Garrett’s. and this is the place and I’ve tried a lot of places. Really great caramel corn made in house, nice selection of candy and the owner is very nice as well.
