Worst experience in the world. The manager is never around, the associate tried to see someone a cubic instead of a diamond, and they dont have good customer service manner avoid this place. .every kiss does not begin with this store.

I haven’t bought from this Kays yet, but I do come here for biannual ring inspections and cleaning. They have been fine to work with so far. It can be difficult to wrangle help from a sales person when it’s busy. Nothing stands out too much either way.

I need to say, when I read the reviews I was skeptical at first. However, when I called I spoke to Fiona and she was very nice. Later in the day I went to have my ring sized(they had to order a new one), Fiona was very helpful and provided a good Customer Service experience. I’ll definitely go back here.

Avoid this place like the plague! Is it possible to rate zero stars? Even that would be generous. I purchased my fiancé’s wedding band at a different Kay’s, but since we live close to this loc we came here to get it resized. While there we figured why not drop off my wedding band(not purchased at Kay’s) to be resized and my engagement ring(not purchased at Kay’s) to be resized and to have a small diamond chip that had fallen off replaced. That was two months ago and I have been without an engagement ring since — minus one day, that is. My ring took nearly a month to be resized/fixed, which is ridiculous and what’s beyond ridiculous is that after picking it up and going home I looked at my hand and FOUR diamond chips were missing!!! My fiancé and I went back the next day and explained the problem. The man we spoke to(Jeff) said he’d call the repair shop and make sure the guy in charge over there(Jose) would get the ring directly and we’d have it back in a week. That was two weeks ago! And our wedding is less than two weeks away!!! No one from this godawful store bothers calling when they say they will. Every time I call asking where my ring is I get more BS and another date and someone saying, I’ll call the repair shop and call you right back… Then I get told the ring will be sent out tomorrow. Well tomorrow has yet to arrive. The other day I was even given the excuse of the repair shop being short staffed. They’re running out of excuses IMO. Yesterday I spoke to the store manager who insisted she would call the repair shop and call me today on her day off. Welll today is 90 minutes away from being over and, surprise surprise, no phone call. If that’s the way the manager treats the customers, well, is it any surprise this place is a disaster. Where is my ring???

On the phone, this place wasn’t so bad. Going in was an entirely different experience. The people in the store had no clue about a product on their website. I had to look at their computer terminal in the store to get the product I wanted from the website. It took twice as long to order this ring in the store online as it would have taken for me to do it at home & have the ring sent there. We also discussed my getting a gold band to be resized for my very tiny ring finger. The saleswoman assured me she’d call me the next day to tell me IF they were going to order it or not, after which time I’d have to come in to pay a partial deposit. Two days passed and no phone call. I called & was told they would call me the next day to tell me if there would be an order. After hearing NOTHING once again, I decided to look elsewhere for a simple gold band. I got one quickly at a different store for less money and more karats. I called this store after that to tell them not to bother with this ring but to alert us about the special order item. The man I spoke to didn’t give me much reassurance that they would get this distinction right. A few days later, I got a call stating the special item was ready. My husband took the call since we’d put the ring under his name & he’d paid for it. The lady who called, Allie, hung up on him before he was finished and we had to call the store back. When I called back, the lady I spoke to acted dumb when I asked for«Alex,» the name my husband claimed the lady he spoke to gave him. After some argument that indeed I was calling Kay Jewelers and more frustration, I got the proper person. When I asked about resizing, she claimed that they would have to send the ring off elsewhere & the people there would have to decide if it COULD be resized. I also learned they no longer offer free resizing at Kay like they did years ago & that I would have to pay if it COULD be resized. With odds like that, why would I wait around to get my ring in the proper size? I feel like I’m being punished for having skinny fingers. Thankfully, picking up this ring was a harmless, low stress ordeal. I will NEVER go back here unless they do some serious retraining in customer service.
