The office staff is really nasty. I saw this OB/​GYN 2 times, the first time we waited more than an hour. Second time was a little faster. After that it all went down hill, they canceled my appointment the day before with no excuse and no way to reschedule before another week or 2. Finally after waiting a week I am going for a 730 pm appointment at 9 pm they call my name to advise me the doctor will not be able to see me. I decided to take my medical file and to find another doctor. The staff was laughing at me the whole time. Oh I forgot to say I am 12 weeks pregnant and my last visit more than a month ago.

CORONA, NY
There are thousands of doctors in NYC. Why I waited for this one… no one will know. I had scheduled an appointment two months in advance to have the receptionist call me 2.5 hours before my appointment to cancel. Then she had the audacity to tell me she could reschedule me in another two months… NO THANK YOU! My mother went here and said he was good but not worth the excruciating wait (Had an appointment and still waited THREE hours) She has gotten a better more reliable doctor less than a mile away. Appointments don’t mean anything here.
Oh and I once asked «Two months to see him? What if it was an emergency?» The rude receptionist answered «You could go to the ER.»
Rude front desk. GOOD BYE! Never recommending.

If you need an excellent gynecologist or obstetrician, go to Dr Santandreu. He is very professional and knowledgeable. However, he is down to earth, easy to talk to and very personable. I know someone that works at North Shore Forest Hills Hospital and she says he is the BEST surgeon. I believe you will not regret going to him, trust me. Two of my friends had babies with him and they said their birth experience was unbelievable and a memorable event. The office staff is professional and friendly. Well organized. Go to Dr Santandreu-​you will love him.

He is the best. He cares for his patients and is professional. Just be ready to wait for a long time.
