We recently held my father’s memorial service at Pedersen Ryberg. Being new to the area and never planning a service before, we weren’t sure where to go, but we could not have asked for a better experience. Bob and the staff are incredibly kind, respectful and caring. From respectfully removing my dad’s body from our home to hand delivering the death certificates, everyone was very professional and genuinely caring. They truly made the day effortless and a wonderful time to remember my father.

My brother who was in law enforcement passed away after a long illness a month ago. If I could give 10 stars I would. Robert and his staff are the most caring, compassionate and professional group of people you could find in this line of business. Unfortunately I have been involved in too many of these things in my life. Due to such a heartfelt experience at Pedersen my loved ones and several friends have changed plans on where they want to be waked. I have received numerous complements on the serve and graveside due to the professionalism of Robert and company. Robert and his wonderful staff are good people with good hearts. Make that 20 stars.

Funeral homes are not the places you’d expect to see reviews for. I mean, you are already stressed and dealing with things that most people don’t ever want to think about, let alone plan for. But this place deserves it. We were referred to them through Mount Emblem cemetery on Grand Ave. We were dealing with all sorts of difficult decisions with my dad while he was in hospice and needed someone great that would help us with what we needed. This was definitely the place. I called and talked to Cheryl before my father passed to ask questions and see what we could do with the limited info we had at that time. See, my father was in the military, and even though we thought we had all of the right paperwork, we didn’t. My father was, shall we say, less than organized. She directed us where to look on the website to get better ideas of what was offered, and answered my questions the best she could with the limited info I had. After my father passed, my brother contacted Cheryl to take care of the arrangements. When we went to make them, Cheryl was great. Easy to talk to, and remembered when I called her the previous week, even though I’m sure I didn’t leave my name. All three of us bonded immediately. Cheryl went above and beyond to make my father’s service great. From dealing with the military and the paperwork, and getting everything lined up in a timely fashion, beginning to end, the whole staff there was pleasant and accommodating. If you find yourself in the difficult position of planning this type of event, I HIGHLY recommend this Funeral Home. Unfortunately I have had way too many experiences at other places, and Pedersen Ryberg was by far the best. Thank you again, Cheryl and staff, for putting together a memorable service for my Dad. I know he appreciated it, and so did we.
