Star Paradise Inc

The icon on the map is showing the other Paradise preschool — PSY Daycare. My review is on Star Paradise on Broadway, right by the Grand Ave subway station.
I’m not sure whether this is a new location or if they are reopening after the fire that damaged this building a few years ago. Since they do have a few locations, they should have the experience and management to run a school. However, they seemed very unorganized at the beginning of the school year and prior. From my own experience, the staff was not very clear on certain situations, especially with UPK signup when the school had not managed to finalize their certification (this is when they first opened). I had signed up and was told my spot on line would likely qualify my child for UPK. Except, they lost my application and ultimately we were unable to sign up.
Since that was a missed opportunity, we signed up for the regular daycare. What’s unfortunate was the shuffling of classrooms and teachers at the beginning of the school year. I’m guessing they were trying to organize and figure out some things but what if my child had grown attached to a specific teacher? I’d estimate that for the first two months, we had been shuffled to four different classrooms.
Did anyone ever question why all the previous reviews were done on the same day? I’m not saying the school is bad but it’s definitely not 5 stars! Overall, if they make strides to improve their organization this is a very good option for the neighborhood. My child enjoyed learning with the teacher, made new friends and learned new things. As the year progressed, it seemed they were tackling on certain problems so hopefully they will continue to improve and grow!

I believe that some of these comments may be very illogical and very rude. For starters it may be wrong for a teacher to stay a kid down to a chair. However we must also ask WHY of all students was he strapped to a chair. Was the kid maybe acting out of hand repeatedly or was he probably endangering the safety of other students. This can also indicate that the child may be in need of better parenting. In addition we should consider whether your attitude was appropriate in the phone conversation or were you talking rudely as well. From what I know the school was reopened very recently. From what I see the school is working very hard to better improve themselves
